Due to large facial pores, I have been on a search for the perfect primer. My search is OVER!!! A-Primer far exceeds all of the high dollar primers I have used in the past. This product is silicone based, which lays the perfect canvas to apply my Bella Rose mineral foundation. I LOVE IT!!!

Ok, I waited, I thought about it, read the reviews, waited, read the reviews again, thought it sounded like an amazing product; no pores (not really of course, but the 'look' of no/reduced pores; smooth looking skin, sounds terrific. So I couldn't wait to get it and put it on immediately. No difference, pores look the same, skin looks the same. Am I using too much? Do I not wait long enough for it to soak in? I don't think so, but I gave it 3 stars because maybe I'm not using it right. Will continue to experiment. It's been too long to return so if I have no luck I'll give it to the local women's shelter. Sigh. Sooo disappointed. I keep giving SSC more and more chances, but I think their line is not for me; I just don't get the same results and everyone else raves about them. Sigh.

I love this product. I was skeptical when I first put it on my face because it felt a little greasy and I have oily skin. However, my concerns were unwarranted. It soaked right in and made my foundation go on beautifully. My skin looked better; and even though sometimes I feel exhausted from work, kids, husband, I don't look exhausted. Highly recommend.

There is nothing like silicone to make your skin look like velvet. I've used another brand but this is much cheaper. I still have oily skin but after using oil stripping cleanser, I put this on and my skin is moisturized and looks youthful. Use sparingly and then put on a light foundation. No one can believe my age but it's the products you use that makes the difference. This is a great base. Give it a try.

I HAD NO LUCK WITH THIS PRIMER AND I USED ALL THE PRODUCT.MAY BE IT WAS I HAVE OILY SKIN.

Have used this since it's inception. It is fantastic. Not greasy, very creamy and a little goes a long way. To me it compares to Smashbox's photofinish!

I only gave it 4 stars because it is a bit greasy, so don't use too much of it and let it absorb. However, once you apply your makeup, it looks so smooth and not cakey at all. Thanks again SSC!

Used this for years - tried others and this is the BEST. A tiny amount spread carefully &allowed to settle for a few minutes - makeup looks flawless and stays. A slight glow brightens skin for no-makeup days. No mess unless I use too much or too many products under it. Also, it seals in my moisturizer, I'm hydrated much longer with this on top even under harsh conditions. I've only given 4 stars because I just ordered the TYR facial firmer and would love to have a product that primes AND firms.

This is the first primer I have used. I have medium size pores and I use it on my T zone. For you first timers USE A SMALL AMOUNT,(pea sized). A litte goes a long way. I am on a tight budget and this is a GREAT VALUE compared to the other 38 dollar ones. My pores do look smoother. Noticed complaints of pasty mess etc, the key don't use very much. I would recommend this to my friends.

The A-primer is great. I just bought it again after a LONG absence of trying others (including Spackle by Laura Geller and Smashbox and Stacy's YBF). SSC's A-primer is much better than all those. Just let it set for a few minutes...and it truly helps your makeup go on nicely, as promised. It's not too greasy. I'm still in search for the "best" in this category for my and my skin - but until I find it...I will continue to use A-Primer. *I have had the C-Primer in the past - A is better!

First time I've used this product and I've only used it once so far. It works great! I use serious skin bella rose, ProMinerals. It is the only Mineral I can use. Others you can see and tell I I have Minerals on my face! One question Why is the one I received in a white tube??

I have been using this product for at least 3 years, and the one before that. Love this! I live in South Florida, work in a restaurant and my face coverage stays on all day.Its jennifers best product! How about a special-so I can stock up, and give a couple of gifts!- happy girl

So, I listened to some of the reviewers and bought the gigunga-sized Laura Geller Spackle primer. OMG- that stuff doesn't hold a candle to A-primer. I wear studio makeup daily, and A-primer is AMAZING under it!! Don't be fooled by the cheaper price of Spackle because it does NOT have the filling and silicone properties A-primer has. Don't be cheap and waste your time with the other stuff. I wish I hadn't paid attention to that Spackle nonsense talk :o(

LOVE this primer! I'm 36 years old with rosacea and oiliness in the T-zone area. I've tried at least 6 different high-end primers and this one is by far the BEST. A little of it goes a long way. My foundation and/or base mineral powders go on smoothly and best of all, my makeup stays in place all day, with little to no touchups throughout the day..and I live in Las Vegas, where it is very hot.

I too would love to see a special on this item. I've always gotten it in kits but will now have to purchase it separately. I use this & B Illusion -- leaves a smooth finish to the skin. I never use make up w/this.

THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST PRODUCT ON THE MARKET. I USE UNDER MAKEUP AND MY MAKEUP SEEMS TO GLIDE ON. I HAVE USED OTHER ITEMS BUT NONE COMPARE TO THIS. A LITTLE IS ALL YOU NEED AND THE RESULTS ARE JUST WONDERFUL. WOULD LIKE TO SEE A SPECIAL ON THIS, SO I COULD STOCK UP.

Wonderful product. Since I've started using this primer I won't put on any makeup without starting with this. Many times I just use the primer and omit the makeup. I've used other brands and this one is excellent and far less expensive. Give it a try. You'll enjoy the compliments.

I never used a primer before but received it in a kit. Now
I can't live without it. For those of you who think it is
greasy, try using just a small amount. About half the size
of a pea is enough, and it will last longer that way! If I
use more than that, I have to wipe it off because it won't
absorb into my skin.

This came in a kit I bought and after trying it once it went in my drawer, months and months later I tried it again, and I wouldn't be without it! I have been using a mineral makeup and it works great with it. Great for enlarged pores too :)
