Despite what other reviewers said, I found this to be a lovely necklace. I purchased the blue. Yes, it is heavy, but what do you expect? It's made from Agate. No, it doesn't lay completely flat, but you can manipulate the pieces so that it ays flat enough. Another option is just to have one of the pieces removed so that there is more room for the pieces to float. Overall I am pleased with this purchase - great deal. The earring are awesome as well.

I just received mine this afternoon and I like it a lot. Its substantial but not that heavy. Stones are different shades and its the way nature grows them. Dont look at this if you like dainty jewelry. this is mean to stand out. Eventhough mine didnt come with the clasp, I want to keep it. Dont know if is a make mistake or previos customer lost it. Will call HSN to find out how they can help or fix this.

this is my first Studio Barse piece and it was such a wonderful surprise when I opened the box. I got the blue and all my stones were there unlike some other reviewers. I also bought the matching earrings - even tho I am not a matchy matchy gal. The necklace is so cool and fun and elegant! I love unique pieces and HSN makes them affordable. Thanks Studio Barse for GORGEOUS piece. And the earrings are great on their own. Love the coloration of the stones.

.....all but one returned because of missing or damaged stones. Even the one I kept has a stone missing....there's a half inch gap on the wire. The upside to this is that you can spread the remaining stones so there isn't as much overlap and the gems will lie better. Am I the only one noticing that the quality of HSN jewelry is diminishing? There are several other items I've ordered recently that arrived either damaged or broken. Still the quality is better than the other Q network.

I loved this necklace and Barse, but it arrived with 4 stones on necklace broken in half and broken bits in the bag. I reordered thinking I would not get another broken necklace and was wrong. Recieved a second necklace with 3 stones in the front of the necklace broken in half. How can this happen? Where is the quality control on the Barse products? Was going to order a coral necklace from Barse but noted a review of broken parts.QVC needs to look into this. More return charges

The blue caught my eye immediately. I had multiple compliments the first time I wore it. I too love the unique items that HSN carries. Mine as well had one agate broken off on arrival, so I agree that the packaging could have been more substantial to protect the real agates. Since the necklace had plenty of agates, I decided that one stone missing in the group would not be missed and was not worth the shipping to get another. Enjoy its natural beauty, I will.

I read all the reviews and frankly, many of the reviewers are missing the point of the piece. It is supposed to be free-form, natural, and bold. If you want all the pieces to fit in a box and be perfectly orderly, this is not for you. The necklace is a great value at this price and so stylish. It screams "money". I am glad I went ahead and ordered it. I think it is spectacular.

This is definitely a bold piece. I'm glad I got it. It has a substantial and weighty feel to it, but I like that. I like that it has character as all the pieces don't lay flat. It's much more interesting. Looks like a hand made piece.

I ordered the necklace in Black, with the earrings, and it is a very bold, unusual piece, which I love, since I'm an artsy person. Looks hand-made. While it's weighty, it's irregularites make it special. I have also ordered it in the blue (waitlist. It's not a piece I would wear everyday, so I think the cable wire that it's threaded on, will hold up, despite its weight. I like it alot.

Even though I thought it was big and different from what I am used to, I wore it to a conference recently. I could not believe how many compliments I received.Strangers walked up to tell me how different and beautiful this piece looked. One was a buyer for a very high end store;comments she made indicated that she thought is was terribly expensive. I didn't tell her how little I paid! When you get this necklace home, don't just look at it and decide - wear it out and see the compliments you get!

Ladies......Plesse read the reviews on this necklace before ordering. The idea was great, but the end result was horrible. Do not order this necklace not even on clearance. It is big, heavy, bulky and just a waste of time. The earrings are just as bad, Doesn't matter what color, I ordered both, it is just ugly!

Too heavy, and impossible to keep the agate flat. Too many stones that are not set properly. Too bad, as I really liked the idea of an "untouched" stone. Had to return this necklace.

This, in either color (got both) could have been a wonderful stand-out piece! However after saying that both of mine arrived with holes in the Agate,cutting process-maybe, but should of course then not been used. The metal wire shows as you try to arrange them to lay in some kind of orderly fashion.I would have dealt with the weight for the beauty of the stones if they had not been defective in design.

I was aware from the video that this necklace doesn't lie conventionally on your neck, but I found it looked awkward (and strange). I had to keep fighting the beads that kept standing up. It made it too uncomfortable to wear with ease. Who wants to spend the day fighting one's jewelry?

I got the black- waitlisted for blue-it's attractive and unique- but oh so heavy on the neck. I agree there could have been just a few less pieces attached, as a lot of us have found it to be too heavy around the neck. I also would have felt better with a more substantial way to attach the stones together. I fear it's going to just come apart at any time because the wire is so thin. I can envision the wiring breaking from the weight after a certain amount of wearings. Will likely return.
