No sewing talent is needed when you use the Super Strong Liqui-Sew Kit. For use with most fabrics, it's the quick and easy solution for all your sewing needs. Mending, hemming and patch-making has never been so simple and fast. Liqui-Sew bonds to most fabrics including suede and leather and dries to a clear bond while leaving no residual odor. Use it for a multitude of uses, such as: fast tailoring, mending torn jeans, hems, leather or vinyl purses and car upholstery; fixing suede shoes and jackets without the cost of expensive tailors, making instant window treatments and tablecloths and fixing ripped zippers and linings. With your kit you will also receive Synthetic Liqui-Sew, which aids in bonding man-made fibers such as nylon and polyester, as well as cotton/poly blends and 2 Liqui-Sew On-the-Go, great for unexpected emergencies when you're on the road or at the office. My small tubes were totalling dried up and then the brush broke off on the synthetic one so I could not even use it to apply from the bottle.
This was a total waste of money for me.

Yes my small tubes are dried out and useless also. However, I was able to mend my curtains while they were on the rod hanging up and I was able to use this to mend the seam on my blouse. I think this works great on cotton. You need to be careful not to apply to much as per the intructions or it will leave a permanent stain. Use it sparingly.

Even though many reviewers disliked this product, I found it to be a quick way to hem & repair any cloth items. I hemmed 4 tops in less than the time it takes to sew one. The small tubes did dry up quickly & should probably be replaced by a smaller bottle which keeps forever. I'll buy again.

Should have read reviews before buying. Didn't try until 30 days was up. Small tubes were solid, looked like pieces of foam rubber inside. Useless! Glued leather shoe inserts in, OK for now, but very runny and messy, had to hold pressure for lengthy time to get to bond. Save your money.

I bought this hoping to be able to repair items easily. The product in the On-the-go tubes were solid and applicator broke off when I tried to open them! The projects I have tried this on are horrible! Does not dry clear, leaves stains, etc. I will not send back due to shipping costs, but think HSN should take this off of the air! I have never rated anything poor or even less than excellet before, but this one deserves it!

I bought this product for guick fixes when I didn't want to drag out the sewing machine. I re-ordered after receiving because the "on the go tubes" were all dried out- the new ones I received were also dried up. I really wanted to have these to leave in car.--I did use the product to fix a seam in my ugg boots which worked well. I read other reviews and hope using this on fabrics don't yellow --kinda scarey

I ordered this product in Oct 2008 and thought WOW what a great product. However, I was not satisfied at all. I was only able to use the smaller tube once b/c when I pulled the applicater out there was no liquid, it was dry and sticky. There was bearly enough on the stick to apply to anything. Unfortunately, I waited past the 30 days to try the product and therefore was unable to return for a refund. I don't know maybe I got a bad batch. What a blower!

I tried this product with several small projects in mind. It did not work on any of them and actually made quite a mess. Again I am disappointed with an HSN product that they sell over and over again. Save your money!

It does take a little skill to use this product but it does work. The purse size is nice because it makes it easier to use.

I am not at all impressed with this product. I used a similar product that worked great but this Liqui-Sew just doesn't measure up. I waited too long to test it out, so I can't return it, but I will never order it again.

I used this on several pieces of knit clothing and it worked wonders. Looked as good, or better, than if I had sewn the fabric. Any type product like this will be messy if you don't handle it properly; otherwise, it will work wonders for you. Just be patient and try this product. I was really surprised at how well it worked.

This product is actually great. Great for mending torn clothes and more. You have to be patient with it...play with it alittle to figure out the best technique. I tried it first on a scrap piece of material just to see how it worked.
I just got it and already mended 2 torn shirts and my cushions on the sofa. I really like the smaller to go applicator. It just makes it easy !

I have read many of the comments, and yes, it can be messy. Use the applicator bottles, and its not messy. I have a brocade 1 quart water bottle that was made for me and the strap was tearing off. I used the the Liquid Sew and it worked wonderfully. I used it over a month ago, and carry the bottle filled with ice water over my shoulder every day, all day, and it hasn't let loose. The glued area often gets soaked when I refill the bottle, and the bond is still holding. This stuff is great.

I used this on a pair of suit pants and it made the material hard, and I was very disappointed because they made it look so good on tv. I am sending it back and won't order again. It is made for areas that it wouldn't make a difference if it is hard like a hem.

I was anxious to get this product as I'm not a sewer and thought this would be great for small repair jobs. I tried to use the product to put a small patch on one of my husband's work shirts. When I pulled out the wand from the small, on the go tubes, what came out was just a clump of glue (almost dry) and nothing else. There wasn't enough liquid product on the appliator to do anything! I ended up opening the large bottle which was a little better but still feel this product is very hard, and messy, to work with

Best product ever!! I don't have a sewing machine & I had to send this review after reading the neg.comments. It is NOT MESSY & so easy to use. All you have to do is READ THE DIRECTIONS & make sure you use the right product on the right fabric.Also,the little applicator stick is perfect-use it & it's impossible to have a mess. We are having a blast LiquiSewing all kinds of things around the house-we even used it to repair torn upholstery in our car. What more can you want for $17.00 ?????
