I was disapointed that this was so flimsy. The body is made up of very thin plastic with a covering of very thin fabric/padding. I purchased this because I had a free ship coupon. I don't know that I would buy this item again. I did go to a fabric store to check out the other dress forms and it seems that most of them are pretty flimsy so I 'm not as upset about the quality.

I ordered this dress form to do professsional alterations on and so far I am very happy with it. You will need to weight the legs with sand bags or something of your choice for heavy garments like wedding gowns and keep the instructions telling you which area's to adjust first and you should have good luck with this dressform. For the price it works for me, I am not yet ready to invest in a largely more costly professional dressform, they are out there if you want a sturdier form at a high price point. I found a pattern that allows me to make arms and add on pads to beaf this dressform up for added sizes. Thank you HSN and I love the flex pay options you offer with so many of your products.

I purchased this Dressform for my daughter's wedding last year. It exceeded my expectations. It never once tipped over and was extremely user friendly for her gown and bridesmaid dresses. It made my job so much easier. I now use it for myself - it just makes "your" sewing projects so much easier and you'll be extremely happy with your fit. It is a lifelong tool.
