Girls of all ages will love sewing on this cute chainstitch sewing machine. Brightly decorated with red and pink flowers, this white sewing machine features a working light, tension dial and foot pedal control. Produces a neat stitch on a machine just like Moms! Machine comes with a sewing basket filled with a tape measure, scissors, needle threader, pincushion and four filled bobbins. Uses two C batteries - not included.

I purchased this for my daughter for Christmas and we were totally let down! There is no bobbin, so of course the stitch doesn't hold and you have to finish it off manually. This is something I honestly didn't look for, so it isn't the machine's fault. The one big plus was the finger guard. It's essential for a child using a sewing machine. A good place to start, but she wants to make stuff!

I bought a simmular one and it didnot last long . I did buy the other one that they have for 19.95 ( the purple one with the thread. My 13 and fifteen year old love them. hope it helps. Lori Ransom
