Ordered 12/06. With little use, bridge came unglued in 5/07. Sent back. Waited for replacement. 8/16/07 told, "not in stock-no EDD-would send Granada". 9/10/07 order had not been placed. Was told I would get guitar in 7-10 days. 10/1/07 called again. Was told item had not shipped until 9/26/07. Might get by 10/4/07. STILL WAITING! BE WARNED!

I knew my guitar would bring me joy it is beautiful. Fortunely my guitar arrived in great shape and the workmanship is excellent i compared to a black finish Fender I have for a quartar century and the Estaban made a better impression.
I got one that was excellenty made thanks Don Estaban.

I was most pleased with my guitar/amp set and found the DVD's to be just what I needed. Quality is excellent. Package showed signs of rough handling by UPS though. I would recommend to anyone.

We ordered the black and what a beautiful instrument it is. This is our 3rd Esteban guitar and we have never been disappointed. This guitar is a bit smaller than our others which makes it easier for me to hold. Easier than the steel strings to play. Can't wait to learn on this one! Bravo!

I was very disappointed when I opened my guitar package last night. Why in the world would you inlay mother of pearl and then slap a decal decoration sticker at the bottom where the strings loop through. Had I known I would find a K-mart sticker on it I would have passed. On a quick check the mini-amp does an ok job... however Esteban mentioned it filled up a concert hall… hmmm - maybe he meant a concert "hallway." My package was also missing the chord charts as others mentioned.

I was so excited to receive the Malaguena classical guitar. Imagine my disappointment when I found two 1" long soft spots in the wood under the lacquer on the bottom edge of the guitar. This damages the integrity of the instrument. Please, please improve your quality control and inspection PRIOR to letting these instruments go out of your factory. It is so important to your good name. I am sending it in for an exchange, because I did receive the Coral Sun guitar in excellent condition.

This package has it all. The DVD's are so easy to follow, the guitar itself is amazing for the price, (just look around). The amp is more than adequate and well made. If you are looking for a set for a beginner or novice, this WILL be more than one could hope for at this price. You can spend more, but you may not get any better sound or quality, trust me. AAA++++ rated!

Bought this for my music room. Not only beautiful and a classic, but plays well. My sons play and I will now learn on my new guitar. Lessons are well worth it. Great instructions. Truly worth the amazing price.

BUY THIS FOR THE DVDS !!!! OMG really good stuff there Love it !! I agree the guitar isent everything its cracked up to be BUT for something to learn to play on its great. I had no problems with the guitar. I did notice in the begining I had to tune it up a lot but after about a month or so it really works nice. I would buy this again just for the DVDs.. they are really what is of value here.. I think the teaching style ANYONE can do.. I would but it again .. Its worth it..

I bought the black Malaguena classical guitar last summer and haven't had any problems as mentioned in some of the reviews. The guitar looks great and has a very good tone. It usually stays in tune and may require only a little tweeking to bring it back in tune when the weather and humidity changes. I have been very pleased with the entire package. I would like to see if Esteban comes up with a new classical guitar design. I also have the Granada classical guitar and am pleased with it.

The guitar came in excellant shape..I waxed it, changed the strings and bridge pins and it truly has a great sound..I have 7 other guitars so this is not my first.. I have read some of the other reviews and can't believe some of the stuff I read.I think alot of people buy guitars and just have no clue how to use them and not to be rough on them..It's an instrument and if handled improperly you can break it..Even the name brand guitars that cost thousands you can break if you are not careful.

First problem I had was the equalizer unit on the guitar failed. I called manufacturer and they replaced it within a week. This is the good news.
Now I have a second, more serious problem. Something is vibrating inside the bridge when the strings are played on the 5th fret and higher. This makes the guitar virtually unplayable. HSN said they could not help since I am past the 30 day return/refund point. I will be calling manufacturer again ...... wish me luck.

Received the Clasical Guitar package. Guitar had many blemishes and did not play very well. Action needs reset and it does not stay in tune for long. Some redeeming aspects: great for a new player with the CD's, pickup and case, price was appropriate. Question, Show seemed to indicate it was hand made in South American countries by personally trained individuals, yet tags say Made in China. Quality of the guitar was fair, as a starter package it is worth it.

I bought it for my husband who is an accomplished musician. He tried it out and announced that it ws not a $600 value as indicated but was probaly worth the $188 I paid for it. We decided to send it back. My daughter who is just learning guitar was visiting and quickly claimed it as her own. So, she got an unexpected Christmas present, and we didn't have to pay the $35 it would have cost to return. I expected more from Esteban though.

i was worried my husband wouldn't like this gift for christmas. however, it turns out that he likes it. I got my son a guitar through target and decided to get my husband a guitar through HSN. I am glad I got my husband a more expensive guitar because he is more interested in learning how to play the guitar.

I WAS INGRIGUED WITH THIS BEAUTIFUL GUITAR IN BLACK WHEN I SAW IT DEMONSTRATED ON TV. I RESEARCHED ALL THE ESTEBAN GUITARS AND THIS ONE SEEMED THE BEST FOR MY USAGE AND OFFERED THE BASIC GUITAR WITH THE AMPLIFIER WHEN I AM GOOD ENOUGH TO "AMPLIFY" MY PLAYING! WHEN I RECEIVED IT I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE QUALITY OF THE GUITAR AND IT HAS PLASTIC STRINGS WHICH IS GOOD FOR TENDER FINGERS!

The Guitar looks ok for the money but I'll never know how it sounds, the tuning pegs were broken so there is no way to tune it. Wanted to have it tuned and ready to go under the tree, but that's not going to happen.. now I need to find an alternate gift or go buy one from a music store

I looked forward to giving this to my husband for Xmas. In general, it's beautiful and provided it plays well, a great value. Unfortunately, as my luck goes, there is a obvious painted-over defect on the front, ruining the look of the guitar. When I tapped it, the paint/shellac started chipping off. Any where but the front and it'd be no big deal. My husband can decide if he'll keep it, and HSN will exchange it, but what a hassle! I rated it 2 for lack of quality control and sheer inconvenience.
