If this were advertised for touch-ups or for delicate fabrics you are afraid to take an iron to, that would be more accurate. It does not replace an iron!!! This does not do what an iron does for linens or even cottons. It is disappointing that these false claims are made. This purchase makes me wonder about all of HSN claims.

I was really excited about getting this because I thought it would be a fabulous addition to my home. I soon found out that all it would do was leave things overly damp and STILL wrinkled. It didn't get things 'crisp' like Joy said. It's going back this afternoon, along with the Joy Mangano Clothes Drier. Great concept, poorly made.

I purchased this steamer on 12/10/06 and I was impressed with the presentation and claims made. When I got it home it worked ok and I continued to use it only several times (5 maybe 6 times). The last time I used it (yesterday), it blew up and sprayed hot water all over. Glad it was sitting in the bathroom counter! I had to clean up the mess and throw it away.
Not likely that I will purchase any more of her products if this is an indication of her idea of a quality product.

This does not work It spouts out too much steam but takes longer than ironing to get the wrinkles out. It is also dangerous due to the excessive amt of steam and the inability to turn the steam down.

I just recevied my 850-Watt Little Steamer, tried it on several different garments with poor results, although it's great for a facial! so I guess I'll keep it for that.

Mine turns off on its own after about 3-5 minutes of use. AND it does not get the wrinkles out! Might as well use the iron. I'm sending this one back.

I owned the previous model and it worked great for 2years then died out on me. I even recommended it to friends. I purchased a new one and it worked for a few days then would turn itself on/off while using. Returned it for a new one and this one is doing the same thing. Anyone else having this issue?

This Little Steamer has retired both my iron and ironing board! That, in and of it's self is worth so very much; then add in that this appliance is safer, more efficent, and easier to use than an iron is such an added bonus! My clothes look and feel so much better. If it spews water every great once in a while is no big deal for me - my steam iron did that also and it took at least five times longer to dry that out then it does with the Joy Little Steamer.

I have had this item for a couple years now and would never want to be without it. I did not like it the first few times I used it though, was not as easy as Joy showed on her demo. It takes getting used to, once you do it will make ironing a breeze. Love it!

This is the best product especially for someone who cannot stand to iron! I bought one about a year ago and use it almost daily. It's quicker than throwing a wrinkled tee-shirt in the dryer and the results are better too. I even take it with me when I travel. Can't live without it!

I got mine in lavender. It is really great. Much better than ironing my delicate fabrics. My hand did cramp some after using it for quite a while, but great product none the less. Great Price! Thanks Joy Mangano and HSN Joy please make a steamer for use in the bathroom and kitchen.

My steamer worked great 3 times, then began spewing water everywhere. This happens when it's 1/3 full and sitting upright on the counter. Too bad, it looked great. Good for heating water for tea.

This is a great little steamer. I hate to iron and really don't need to these days most things that you wash and dry usually are wrinkle free. But sometimes things get wrinkled in your drawer and/closet and this will do the job. I used it for a pair of pants I needed for work. I plugged in the steamer within minutes there was a lot of steam I went up and down the pants only once and they were wrinkle free. Love this time saving alternative to ironing will never go back to the iron.

I bought my about a month ago. Like other reviewers, I found that it spurts water sometimes--usually when it's full. But the water dries and otherwise it does the job well and easily. I used to use a spray chemical dewrinkler, but now use this instead. It's not much more work than the spray, certainly less than ironing, and does a better job than the spray without the chemicals.

Don't waste your money. I followed all the directions that came with the steamer...and it only worked "O.K." the first time I used it. After it cooled down...and I refilled it..always well below the fill line...blobs of water would spill out all over my carpet. And..I WAS holding the steamer up-right.

I got my first one about 5 years ago.I hardly ever iron anymore.It's great for knit clothes,tee shirts, jeans,etc. My boys are now 12 & 14 and want to look nice for the "ladies." So instead of teaching them how to iron I taught them how to use MY LITTLE STEAMER.But I noticed that every time I needed it I found it in their bathroom.So I bought another one just for them.If a 12 year old boy can use it I think anyone should be able to!

I have 2 of these, 1 in my laundry area & 1 in my bedroom. I sold my iron in a yard sale. 1 trick is to hang the clothes you are steaming up higher. Steam rises.

Joy made this product look so easy to use on TV, however, when you try to use it at home, it takes some fannagaling. The water drips out and I agree with other reviewers that it can potentially be very dangerous. I am always very careful with it. It does "the job" - somewhat and I guess it's okay for the price.

This steamer has an on/off switch, which really isn't an improvement to me since I always unplug my small appliances anyway. It is smaller, but heavier. The former model had a "lip" around the bottom which kept the cord from falling off when wrapped around it, and the cord plug was made so you could attach it to the cord to store. The "cushion" handle on this one is just a hard piece of plastic, compared to the actual softer, larger insert on the former handle.
