The large, highly polished hoops are widest along the bottom and tapered toward the top for an elegant silhouette. Their tubular construction means they have a bold presence, yet feel surprisingly comfortable on the ear. Technibond jewelry is crafted from .925 sterling silver that is plated with a layer of platinum or a 40-mils-thick layer of 14K yellow gold. I was hestiant to order these and I am so glad that I did! I got them a few days ago in Gold, and have hardly taken them off. They are bold but not tacky-bold, and very Italian looking. They remind me of many of the earrings that I saw in the store windows in Venice, but at a fraction of the cost. I just ordered another pair in Platinum before they sold out. They are not too heavy, either. I am very pleased :)

Love the size and look very believable and made well. Bought this in yellow and it's comfortable to wear if I swab both my earlobes and the ear wire with a peroxide-soaked cotton ball, or else it's irritating.

I feel like an Italian Diva when I wear these--very very chic! I avoided a stretched-pierce-hole by not wearing heavy earrings in the 80's, even tho I did "go big"! These are not heavy At All--if they were I would send them back. Very comfortable, very beautiful! I'm thinking about ordering a 2nd pair in case anything ever happens to these--I don't ever want to be without them!!

These earrings are fun and comfortable to wear. I have them in yellow and will be ordering them in platinum as well. They are so easy to wear that I've slept in them, exercised in them, worked in the yard, and went shopping changing clothes several times without ever having to adjust them. The best part is the sparkle and compliments I receive when I wear them. If they came in a size bigger, I’d buy those too.

These earrings are not too small nor too big. They are bold but not heavy on your earlobes. So if anyone is interested in a medium size hoop these are the earrings for you. I ordered them in plantium and they look like real gold.

I had loved these earrings when I purchased them several months ago. However they have become "pitted" with dark spots that are impossible to remove. My guess is that the gold colored overlay has worn off. Would love to send them back but have had them too long now.

These are FABULOUS hoops. I wanted to venture into the world of larger hoops, but not too much, and these are perfect. The graduated tubing on the hoops gives it a really nice bold look on the ear, but not TOO much. The gold color is great. I find them a teensy bit heavy for my 1960's elongated piercings, but as the other reviewer said, they don't actually pull on the ear. Couldn't miss out on the other part of my jewelry wardrobe, so just ordered the white as well.

I was truly skeptical about the rave of techinbond BUT after seeing these earrings I just had to take a chance. WOW
I am very impressed with these earrings. The yelllow gold color is a perfect match to all of my 14KT yellow gold pieces
( not the orangy golden color)also order the white, BEAUTIFUL !Are a little heavier then I expected but not so heavy that they pull hard on ur ear lobe. If you are like I was on the fence about this item.. Just try them, I dont think you will be disappointed.
