I am probably the least creative person I know. That is why this kit is so wonderful. I've been able to iron beautiful rhinestone patterns onto plain shirts and pants and make them look spectacular. Those people who complained in earlier reviews were not following the instructions (which are really easy to follow). The grid that is provided is for making STRAIGHT lines). It is NOT meant to be used with the designs in the the design booklet (and that's why it doesn't line up). Really love it!

This seemed like a great idea, I love the color of the gems. I figured out the tray is only for making your own designs. I have mastered the patterns, but I have been having problems with the gems. Some have flipped during the ironing process and others did not stick. Several reirons, with same stones not stuck on. I will probably try to attach with the mending glue. I was making tshirts for xmas gifts, but it is has taken several trial and errors. WOULD LOVE MORE PATTERNS TO BE AVAILABLE!

I just received this yesterday and have used it once and so far so good. I do have a big complaint though with HSN. I ordered the kit an some additional rhinestones. The kit was put in an 8X 11 padded envelope and the two other orders were out in smaller padded envelopes. The evenelopes were then put into a large box (3ftX2ftX2ft) filled to the top with foam popcorn. Has HSN ever considered going green since this was really not necessary? That was the reason for the rating of 3.

I am a fasion design student and am challenged with creating unique high end designs. I have tried every other rhinestone kit on the market and nothing worked as fast and easy as this one. The stones are beautiful, I used the tray for making perfectly straight stripes and I would recomend this kit to everyone. I keep it as my design secret at school!!!

I love this product! I am putting the sparkly stones on so many different things. Jeans, my purse, the collar of my fall coat. I also read the reviews, but I heard the lady on TV say that the tray was for straight lines and grids. I use the design booklet for ideas. It doesn't say to use it with the clear tray. I think people just aren't using it right. I will order more stones when I run out. This kit is a good deal.

SAVE YOUR MONEY. THE ONLY COOL THING IN THE KIT WAS THE RHINESTONES. THEY ARE VERY SPARKLEY. THE TRAY IS JUNK AND THE PATTERNS DO NOT LINE UP RIGHT WITH THE TRAY. MAKING THIS VERY DIFFICULT TO MAKE THE RHINESTONE IRON ON LOOK RIGHT. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

Just not in accord with what was said. One cannot match the designs with the plastic tray where one puts the rhinestones. I would strongly suggest that the tray consist of circles, since the only designs that can be made are square or rectangular. I had read the reviews, but still decided to buy the product. Thought it would be different, but agree with the other reviews. Work on the tray to match the designs. Bet that would help your product!

I agree with the other reviewers. The tray is worthless. You can not do the designs or the alphabets they show. At least not with the tray they give you. I purchased this because I wanted to put a saying on my t-shirt. What a disappointment when I realized I couldn't do letters and have them look right with the tray supplied. I guess that's why the lady demostrating this item never uses the tray or does letters.

THE PATTERNS DO NOT WORK ON THE TRAY, GREAT IDEA ABOUT PUTTING DESIGN UNDER STICKY PAPER. I MADE MY OWN DESIGN BECAUSE I GOT FRUSTRATED. THE BEADS WERE BEAUTIFUL AND THEY STUCK WELL TO MY FOOTSTOOL LID, AND I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE LOOK.. JUST DON'T COUNT ON THE PATTERNS SENT.

The "accent holder" tray included in this kit, in my opinion, IS WORTHLESS. The patterns don't come out the same as shown in the diagrams (neither the letters nor the designs, I tried both). My solution, was to cut the transfer paper to the size of the desired pattern, peel it apart & place the sticky side up on the design, holding it in place with double sided removable poster tape. I then laid the crystals upside down following the design and it came out perfect. Happy decorating.
