Our Brother 4-3-2 Serger with Built-In Threader & CD is perfect for sewing decorative and finishing stitches on linens, formal wear, and stretchy fabric. It comes equipped with 22 stitch functions including a 3-thread overlock, 4-thread overlock, narrow hemming, rolled hemming, and ribbon lock. The machine can also be used to form gentle gathers, join laces, sew spaghetti straps, and create fabric flowers for formal gowns. It's color-coded for convenient use. For added efficiency and precision, the machine includes stitch width control, outside differential feed control, lay-in threading, a lower looper threading system, and an easy-to-remove stitch finger for narrow or rolled edges. A differential feed easily adjusts while sewing ensuring beautiful finished seams on all types of fabrics. No need to buy special needles - our serger uses standard sewing machine needles. After reading some of the reviews about the Brothers Serger, about the thread breaking mine was doing the same thing, I really enjoy sewing with mine, but the thread would break after sewing a couple of minutes that was a big problem with me, I found out it was the thread, the thread was old and it would break every time, now that I have better thread I don' have that problem any more. I hope you can enjoy your Serger as well as I am enjoying mine.

All I can say LOVE LOVE LOVE this machine.Many years ago I worked on a overlocking machine ( serger ).But This machine is GREAT.CD is very helpful.Nothing like it.

I really love this machine....It is my first experience with a serger and I am SO anxious to find more time to use it!!! I didn't follow the instructions and had to thread it from scratch, but it was good experience and I finally got it right! Totally user error! Highly recommend this serger.

Yes, easy to use, however projects that should take me 2hrs to make turn into 4hrs. due to the thread in the underlock(i believe thats what its called) breaking; once this breaks you have to re-thread everythinh else which is frustrating, then chain off, then to start sewing again, then the underlocker breaks again. this was quite repetitive, i;ve troubleshooted this problem and it keeps recurring...very frustrating when you love to sew and your machine is dysfunctional.

The serger is great and so was the price.I'm not to good with understanding just direcations so the CD's really helped alot.

I had never used a serger before and I was very apprehensive. I had a friend who is an excellent seamstress check out the features and she thought this was an excellent deal. When I got my serger I took it to her house for a lesson. She was very impressed with the ease of threading and use. If you are looking for a user-friendly serger - this is it!

Just recieved the serger in the mail. Couldn't get the instructional video to work so I tryed the Brother site on line. Brother has a link to Wally World to buy this exact machine on line. You can purchase the same model at Wally World for $ 198.96 plus .97 cent shipping. That is a saving of $126.23. Needless to say I'm returning this one to HSN because they refused to match the price!!! Since I called them to see if they would match the lower price there is now free shipping on this item

I just received this serger, took it out of the box, watched the video and began serging. All I can say is WOW. I have owned a few sergers in the past, and the best one yet. Very user friendly, easy to thread, and sews like a dream. Thank you HSN and Brother for offering this product.

Love, love this machine. I didn't know at first if I wanted to try another serger (bad luck with first one) but the reviews sold me and I am so glad I took the plunge again. I have another brother sewing/embroidery machine and I love their machines. Ladies this machine is easy and is a team player with other machines this is a gotta have.

This is my 3rd Brother sewing product (PE 700II & Quattro are other 2) and it is a great little serger. I bought a Europro a few years ago and never could get the hang of it or understand what some of the parts were for. This machine is easy to set up, has a great instruction manual plus instructional CD's and it is fun to use. I bought all the attachments for maximum utility. Brother has great product support and a great website.

I never thought I would buy a serger, but I thought it might be nice to have. I am so glad I did, this machine is awesome. It is very easy to operate, the only thing I had to get was a magnifier with a light bad eyes...... I LOVE it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

This is a wonderful machine, I've had it for 3 months and it works great. In the beginning I was nervous about using it because this is my first serger. However the CD was very helpful and the techniques are cool. This is a must have if your serious about sewing or just starting out, especially with the price and flex pay HSN offers.

I researched different machines before buying this. I needed a serger but had been intimidated by complicated machines that scared me to death to thread. This machine worked right out of the box. the technique guide is fabulous and you get professional results every time. is so easy, I have no problems changing thread or adding or taking away threads. it's color coded and idiot proof. I use it for everything!I use it with my sewing machine and my work gets done so much faster. well worth it.

I have always wanted a serger, but I was afraid to buy one because I didn't know if I could learn to use it. I am not a very experienced seamstress, but I have recently started to do quilting. This serger is SO easy to use and so much fun. I find myself looking for projects to do just so I can use it! It took a little getting used to threading the machine, but the CD helped so much. I highly recommend this machine!!!

Always intimidated by a serger, I never bought one before, After seeing Darlene, I bought one, it came already threaded, and I tried it, It took me about 10 minutes after watching the video to learn to thread it, very simple, and Yes, I was using it.
My friends said, OH LOOK, Shes a professional, so, I just smiled. This is so nice, not big, compact, does the job and sew easy to operate. absolutely love it!

I have been sewing all my life and finally bought this serger. The CD is great as is the instruction manual. Threading is the only tricky part but the CD makes it easy. This is a great 1st serger!

I purchased this serger several weeks ago, because I was tired of paying for alterations I knew I could do myself. I decided to purchase a serger so I could replicate a professional look and add some variety to crafting projects. I have to admit I was a bit intimidated when I opened the box, but after reviewing the guidance from the included dvd I just finished hemming two pair of jeans in less than 30 minutes. I would highly recommend this serger!

I have researched sergers for over a year and always came back to this one for price, features and reviews. I recv'd mine 2 days ago. Was using it, outta box in TWENTY MINUTES (never used a serger before!!!!) Sew very easy to use, and thread. Videos that are included are totally wonderful and informative. I am sew glad to be the proud owner of this brother serger.
