The 2000 Sacagawea Dollar Coin Roll is a fitting tribute to a woman who was truly an American pioneer. The year 2000 was the first year of issue of this historic dollar coin. 2000 Sacagawea Dollar Coin Roll Features: 20 dollar coins - 10 each from the Philadelphia and Denver mints Brilliant uncirculated condition Historical coin - the Sacagawea Golden Dollar was first minted in 2000 and is the first circulating coin to feature an identifiable Native American. Sacagawea was the Native American guide who accompanied the Lewis & Clark Expedition. Beautiful design - the obverse depicts Sacagawea with her baby, Jean Baptiste, on her back and the reverse of the coin features an American eagle in flight, as well as 17 stars. This unusual number of stars symbolizes the 17 states in the Union at the time of Sacagawea's journey with the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Each coin weighs approx. .26 oz. Each coin measures approx. 1.03" in diameter Comes in a sealed hard case banker's roll

If one is going to spend money on coins, it's best to spend it the right way for future years to come. I just got One 2000 - 2007 Complete Golden Sacagawea Dollar Set, 24 total coins in Dansco album - Each year has three coins (S-mint, D-mint, and P-mint) for 8 years so far. I got all 24 Sacagawea dollars in one album. All for under $350. From a private dealer. I know, I collect coins to. The 2001S runs about $165, the 2000P MS65 boldly detailed tail feathers $500.

I think the Sacagawea is a great coin to collect but they are not hard to come by. You can buy the P & D 25 coin rolls from the US Mint for 2007 no problem. Though the 2002 and beyond years were not released into circulation, anyone that bought them has a BU coin. So, if they only mint 4-5 million coins each year you have the potential for 4-5 million BU sets. Not exactly what I call rare. Premium prices are premature today.

I was glad I purchased this roll of 2000 sacs. The first year these were made and they are in good condition. I've seen alot of others very discolored.

I went to the bank back in 2000 - they wouldn't give them out. I've been looking for these coins FOREVER (unfortunately, the nearest coin shop is 75 miles away) and now I can finally get them!

Everyone knows that its hard in general to find perfect Sacagawea coins and the quality of my roll was as good as it can get. They're definitely in gem brilliant uncirculated condition and I'm going to hang onto them because I know they'll be worth a lot more someday.

I am so glad that I ordered this roll of Sacagawea dollars from you - I reward my grandchildren with the Golden Dollars when they have done well on report cards and such. Now they have taken interest in coin collecting with me.

Received shipment today of the 2000 Sacagawea Golden Dollar Coin Roll. They were acceptable and I will keep them. I won't say the entire roll was balanced on condition but out of the 10 P's and 10 D's I'm confident that I received perhaps 8 good quality sets.
I can live with that and don't believe I could have gotten a better ratio anywhere else on these soft metal/coated coins.
They are just very difficult coins to find in MS64-67 condition ungraded.
