A very unfortunate situation indeed - I ordered 2. One for me, one for my son who is in college. Needless to say, 6 weeks ago, I had a dead battery and this did not work. Stormy weather, nasty situation, and no help from Port-A-Jump - ended up calling AAA. Last week my son's battery was dead, he tried his Port-A-Jump, and it too was of no help. Spoke with HSN Customer Service today, and they can not issue a refund, since these were bought in March in case of an emergency. Well, guess what? All of us that have wasted $$ on this are out of luck due to the 30 day return policy. PLEASE HSN Members, DO NOT waste your money on this item! And PLEASE HSN Buyers, TAKE THIS OFF YOUR ITEM LIST! Too many people have been taken advantage of... Port-A-Jump is making loads of $$ off innocent shoppers, and the only ones who suffer more ways than one, are us, not Port-A-Jump or HSN.
