This scent comes on super strong for about 15-30 minutes.
I do know from experience that fragrances are different on
each of us. I have dark hair and eyes, if that helps you
decide on the scent. I didn't like "Lather" the first 30
minutes... but when it had time to blend with my skin...
YUM, it is wonderful. Dove soap is the perfect description.

Clean Lather makes you smell like you just took a bath with Dove soap. It does have a mild baby powder scent after a few hours as others have noted, but to me it smells very soapy which I love.

I'll be honest it's a little stronger than any other Clean scent I've tried, but they've captured that bubbly lathery scent that you get in the shower and I smile every time I wear it. It's so...clean.

Of all the clean fragrances, this is my favorite. Honestly, the only ones I don't like are Provence and Shower Fresh. If you haven't smelled this, it smells almost identical to the white Dove bars of soap. If you don't like that smell, then don't buy this. Simple as that. To each their own (no need to be insulting or rude, people). But I do admit that I'm waiting for the price to come down on this, or for HSN to come up with a great gift set!

I like almost all of the Clean perfumes, but the Lather is absolutely horrible. I can't even describe what it smelled like when I first put it on, but it was not at all pleasant. After it was on for about 10 minutes it turned into an extremely strong baby powder scent and it was so bad I had to wash it off immediately. If you like baby powder, you will like this scent, but it wasn't at all soapy or fresh smelling.

I have to agree with other reviewer. When I first sprayed this on it smell like a bar of soap. Then within a few minutes smelled like very very strong baby powder. I couldn't wash this off fast enough. Stick with Ultimate or Laundry fresh.

Of all the Clean products I've tried this is my favorite, mainly because it LASTS & it smells the most like SOAP. With original Clean, Provence, & Fresh Laundry, the scent doesn't last 20 mins.& the dry down smell is terrible. This one lasts & still smells like soap hours later. Clean Shower Fresh also smells good & lasts, but it is too flowery for me. I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 only because of the price.

I JUST RECEIVED THIS SAMPLE WITH ONE OF THE KITS I ORDERED AND AGAIN JUST LIKE MANY OF THE OTHER CLEAN FRAGRANCES THE NAME TRULY SUMS UP THE SCENT. THIS SMELLS JUST LIKE LATHER FROM A FRESH BAR OF SOAP. CLEAN! CLEAN! CLEAN IT IS!

I've said if they make a parfum that smells like soap then I would wear it.I got a sample of this in another kit and it really does smell like a bar of clean smelling soap!Finally something not sickening sweet like most parfums!
