The design and quality of these knives is excellent, in my opinion. I disagree about the thinness of the steak knives. These blades are super sharp and require very little pressure to use. There's no reason to bend these knives. However, HSN should have made it clear the knife block was NOT included and was made available only through Ronco separately. That was a very disappointing oversight.

I did not even realize the Butcher block provided directly from Ronco was not provided. Shame on you HSN, for not even offering the block. This sent me directly to Ronco and for the same price they offer it. But the google also sent me to a website of buyers reviews and they were not good. So I just returned mine. Where would you store 24 knives without a block?

Ilove these knifes they are so easy to use. and the stakes nifes are so strong you can cut a can open with them. the meat clever works like a breese, even when cutting frozen meats.its so easy. the carving knifes works like a dream. This set is the best and it comes with a life time guarantee. What more can you ask for? The price is right too!

Although the steak knives are not the best I love every other knife. Which is saying a lot since I am always afarid of cutting myself but with these chopping and slicing are so easy the fear is gone.

Sorry, but these steak knives bend out of shape too easily. The whole set is very light and do not pass my quality test. Maybe I got an inferior set from the infomercial.
