Developed by All-Clad Metalcrafters and Emeril Lagasse, the Emerilware stainless steel collection has a thick triple-layer bottom disk of aluminum, copper and stainless steel, which is permanently bonded onto the pan to ensure fast, even heat distribution. Features include a stainless cooking surface for no flavor carry-over, flared rim for drip-free pouring and cast stainless handle that stays cool on top of the stove and has a “thumbprint” indentation to show you where to grip. With a combination of high performance, versatility and excellent heat conductivity – you might actually be in culinary heaven. This is wonderful! The size is perfect and clean up is a breeze! I have many peices form this line and this frypan is a great addition.

I couldnt wait for my new pan but when I opened it up I was shocked to see how thin it was. And, what is up with that handle it doesnt even look like it's part of the pan. This is not what I know to be stainless steel. I am really surprised in Emeril. I guess I should of known considering the price. It was too good to be true. You get what you pay for. Now I will be weary to order from Emeril in the future. This pan is going back. I would pay more money for a better pan.

For all those times when you just want the extra room this pan is perfect. Ideal for everything from sauteing mushrooms to preparing a quick marinara for 8 people, it will never let you down. Quick heating and even heat distribution are the hallmarks of Emeril's cookware. The slightly shallow profile of the pan makes it very easy to control the heat for precise cooking. The helper handle is a nice addition for a pan this size.

Frankly, this seemed to be cheaply made. The only weight was in the attached copper/aluminum base. The edge of the skillet was unfinished/sharp. The handle seemed like an afterthought and did not remotely fit the size of the skillet, neither functionally nor esthetically. I wonder if Emeril has actually seen the skillet. I cannot believe he would ever use this skillet in his kitchen! It is on its way back to HSN.

This pan heats quickly and evenly, using lower temp on stove. Pan is heavy and I have to use two hands to lift it, not only because of the weight, but also because the handle feels thin compared to the pan itself. Also, after cleaning it leaves the finish cloudy. Tried baking soda and that didn't work. Arrived without any instructions and without warranty card. Didn't get much help from HSN. Am keeping it though because it cooks well and the size is great.

Had been looking for a large frypan and I thought I would give this a try. Like the other review, I couldn't afford all clad and thought I'd give this a try... so glad I did. Even heat distribution, good clean up.. it is everything its says it is. Definitely recommend... better than Wolfgang.. sorry

I purchased this pan a few months ago, all I can say is WOW. I wished I had purchased Emeril's cookware sooner. It heats so well, and you don't have to use high heat. I could'nt afford ALL-CLAD, and this is a great alternative. I will be purchasing a 14 pc. set soon, and say good by to my Wolfgang Puck 22 pc set.

This is my favorite fry pan,everything you read in the description is spot on-even heat distribution,The handle stays cool and you can place it in the oven.The picture doesn't show the true size of this pan-it is the biggest fry pan i have seen-Huge!.My husband uses it all the time.Great for making endless meals and easy cleanup.
