I baked scones in this biscuit pan and the other 1/2 of the recipe on a very good quality bake sheet. The scones made in this were the most even browing I have ever seen. The scones on the baking sheet were too brown on the bottom, I need another one of these cast iron pans so I can cook an entire batch at once. Love it! Remember cast iron is heavy, always has been, the handles on this item help to lift with ease.
