This vacuum is awesome it works great,Its a little heavy but other than that no complaints here.I could not see spending 300 hundred or more on a vacuum,If you want a great vacuum wihout having to spend alot of money,buy this one.You wont be dissapointed

I read the reviews,... it sounded great. I ordered it , received it, used it, loved it.
Now I am really sad and disappointed. The third time I was going to use it and it will NOT TURN ON. I have tried every outlet in my house. Nothing. I am returning it with much regret.

Can not get it to work any longer...too bad not a year warranty on it.....purchased and april and not longer turns bar....loved it while it worked but would not recommend it....Bissell is normally so great...not this.....drg

I've had this vacuum for a few months now and so far I have not had any problems. I find it easier to use and cleans much better than another more expensive vacuum that now being used in the basement. I can not believe how much dirt it is still picking up out of my rug.

I used this vacuum in my home for a few weeks before the power switch began to fail. Initially, it would finally work, and then it went to not being able to turn on at all. It did have great suction up until the end, but for the price it should last longer than 2 months. Unlike another poster, HSN has been very responsive and I mailed the vacuum back yesterday. Next time we are going with a Dyson.

This product is overall good. I have had many bissell products and they have held up to some of the best out there. This product did cut off on me. I found out from bissell that the power cord is in the handle. If you take the screw out of the back and adjust the cord it will cut back on. Mine did cut back on. I agree with other that this is a heavy vacuum. It is a keeper to me. It works great on dog hair.

This vacuum cleaner is junk! I have had it for 4 months and it has stopped working. I believe that after such a short time HSN should be willing to stand behind what they sell but unfortunately that is not the case. I now have to find a Bissell repair shop and there isn't one anywhere near me so I will have great inconvenience and HSN has one very dissatisfied customer. I dare you HSN to remove this review!

Yes, I do agree that this machine is heavy(if you are picking it up) but then again it does the job the first time over so you don't spend so much time going over the same area! Pushes easily and the suction power is second to none. I have a cat and it picks up the finest of hair and everything else...be careful on those area rugs that have the rubber backing especially along the edges. All in all, I am very pleased, so this is a "keeper" for me!

It is true this vacuum has excellent suction and seems to keep all the dirt inside, however I used the vacuum around 5 times and I have a very small place, and the power button stopped working. Very disappointed.

I got my Bissell 2 weeks ago and I love it! For those who say it is too heavy- a quality machine is going to have a little weight behind it! It's really not that heavy, and the large cushioned wheels mitigate that a lot. I have had a lot of the "lightweights" and believe me, that's how much suction they have!
I have numerous allergies and this machine is doing a fabulous job for me. It's a great buy! Very well built, solid, and good design; emptying the canister is a breeze. Thanks!

Will probably send back. UPS left it by my front door steps - took 2 people to get it up the stairs. Couldn't wait to vacuum and see if it really picked stuff up on the first pass - IT DID NOT. I had to make numerous sweeps over the same area and then it still did NOT pick up everything. I vacuum everyday and was surprised that this vac didn't work any better than my old one. I vacuumed around the litter box and had to complete the job with my old vac.

I love the sunction and the attachments on this vacuum. However it is heavy! Definitely the heaviest I ever had. Luckily, the hose is long enough to not need to move it to vacuum the first flight of stairs in my house.

Everything about this vacuum is amazing except for the fact that it is exremely heavy. If you are using it for more than one room it feels like it will take your arm off. I do love everything else about it. It picks up EVERYTHING!

This is a great vacuum, immediately used it when it arrived. Couldn't believe what it picked up - I kept telling everyone -- LOOK!!!
Not to crazy about the emptying procedure had to help the canister open a bit with my hand. But other than that, very, very pleased!! You won't be disappointed in purchasing this product. Just as good as the vacuum that starts with a D - and that super light one.

i THINK IT PICKS UP WELL, THE ONLY THING i AM NOT CRAZY ABOUT IS HOW TO EMPTY. fIRST TIME IT STICKED, DONT LIKE THAT YOU HAVE TO CLOSE THE BOTTOM WHERE ALL THE DIRT IS. NOT SURE WILL KEEP

I love this vacuum !!! It works better than my $1200 Kirby vacuum. My teenagers actually like to clean now because they can see all the dirt being removed from the carpet. I highly recommend this vacuum.The accessories are also easy to use and very convenient since they are on board.

What a great deal! This is the best vacuum I have ever had. It is indeed heavy, but it is very easy and comfortable to use and control. If you are familiar with Moon Sand and the way it gets into your carpet, worry no more, this vacuum got it up with no trouble. We have 3 boys and lots of animals, the vacuum cleans up after them brilliantly!
I highly recommend this vacuum.

I have dogs and a cat and was always having to run over the same areas several times, and i vacuumed every other day. I vacuumed the day before my Bissell arrived and next morning was quite anxious to try it out. I could NOT believe how much dirt and hair was still in my carpets. I have had several vacuums(major brands) but i have never had one this efficient. WHAT A BUY for the price!!! I highly reccomend it to anyone that wants real clean.
