I haven't used a sewing machine in at least 25 years. I wanted to start with something small and easy to use. This little machine is amazing. Within minutes of opening the box, I was putting a hem in my pants. I have now made pillows for the holidays, clothes for my granddaughter's doll and working on new curtains for our RV. I would HIGHLY recommend this sewing machine for anyone.

The main reason I bought this sewing machine was to save money by doing my own alterations. The directions are so easy! I have taken in several pair of pants and blouses, and have shortened the length of some of my pants. Many of my co-workers spend a TON of money on alterations to look more professional, so I am glad I can now do my own alterations. I feel happier and more professional in my clothes now that I am able to tailor them myself with my new sewing machine. I'm SO glad I purchased it -- it's GREAT!

it's like 123, it's not complicated to use I enjoy using it and I really like it. I made a lot of stuffs already. Hopefully it came w/ a casing. I saw 1 in our local store, it's a lil bit higher in price but it goes w/ the carry casing which is very nice. It is also a brother sewing machine brand also.

Bought this as a gift for my sister for always doing something nice for me. She is not a sewer but just wanted to be able to hem up her curtains and the like. She said it is perfect for her needs and works like a dream. That is my experience with Brother products also.

Ater not sewing for over 5 years because I gave up on my old Singer, I decided to try again with the Brother. Yesterday I made pillow covers and am so pleased with both the machine and myself. I love my new Brother.
