I have liked this brand's makeup in the past but this kit was not good for me this time. The lip stick is not a flattering shade, the blush is ballet slipper pink and chalky, the shadows were reasonably and I didn't open the gloss as by that point I had decided it would go back.

Wasn't too impressed with most of the makeup in this kit, although I do like the eye shadow colors and use them all the time. Nice neutrals so I'm sure the price I paid was worth the shadows. Blush was nice quality, but the mascara was horrible. I did give it a chance but after using it a couple weeks I decided to throw it out. It was extremely flaky even though I use very little. As much as I love SSC products, I just cannot recommend this kit.

IM 62 YRS OLD AND LOVE THIS KIT...IN FACT I KEEP BUYING THIS EVERYTIME IT GOES ON SALE....NEVER WANT TO BE WITHOUT THIS....LOVE THE SHADOWS ..I USE THEM AS EYELINER TOO.....I HAVE ONE PACKED AND READY TO GO JUST ADD BELLA ROSE AND YOU ARE SET TO TRAVEL.....

I love SSC's makeup. Smelling the rose scented items is like getting a little aromatherapy treatment everytime I'm putting my makeup on. It's very clean and refreshing.The colors in this set are very wearable however the blush is very pale as s the lipstick. It's a nice value and the products wear very well.

I really like the blush and shadow products. However, the packaging is not good. The blush does not "snap" closed so I have to secure it with a rubber band. The shadow closes but not securely. The clear lip plumper is nice (although I never see a difference with plumpers). The lipstick isn't for me. Feels nice but Jennifer's "nude" lip just makes me look dead. It is a better color that the "Honolulu" shade I got in another kit but I would still have to add some color in order to wear it.

I have to agree with other reviewers, the blush is way to light. I applied it several times and still no color. The rest of the kit is fine, I do like the lip stick as I have a very light skin tone.

I am pleased with the products in this kit. However, the lip plumping product chapped my lips so I am giving it just four stars. I have brown hair and eyes and fair skin so the colors have worked well for me.

All colors are very pretty on my skin (I am VERY fair). I love all of the SSC mineral makeup I've purchased to date (I'm even on Auto-Ship for a few kits). I got this when it had a special price of $24.00; I would not have paid full price only because I generall don't pay full price for anything I purchase-times are tight! Jennifer & SSC Team: Please keep expanding the mineral makeup line & I'll keep buying - luv it!:o)

Goes on like Channel! Even smells like Channel! Very light and natural! If you want a bolder color this set is not for you. I have a light and natural look which is PERFECT! Blush is great for a summer tan!

I got this kit for $24 and wouldn't recommend purchasing for more than that. All the products are so-so at best. I'm giving the blush to my teen daughter...the pink color is too light & sparkly for me. Daylily lipstick ok and so is eye quad. As far as the plumper, Lipfusion XL is far superior.

Like some others, I am not much of a makeup person. However, I do love this kit, especially for the price. I have very fair skin, and the blush looks great on -- not too ruddy not too bright. It may be too light for darker skinned women. The eyeshadows are nice as well. They don't always wear as well as I would like, but when I start with a primer (love the olive oil one best), I find the shadows last a little longer.

I love this make-up set. Let me start by saying I am not a big make-up person. I like to wear make-up that looks very natural and simple. I am brunette with brown eyes and the eye colors in this kit really make my eyes stand out. The blush is very simple and the hint of shimmer in it just kicks up the blush factor a notch. The lipstick is a beautiful shade that I cannot speak highly enough about. Thanks for putting together such a great kit!

This was first time trying SSC's make up line, and I wonder where I have been for so long. This is the best make up I have ever tried. This is a nice kit, BUT the blush is not deep enough. A little mor pigment in the blush is needed. otherwise, a nice kit.

I love all the SSC skin products, but am pretty disappointed with the make up items. The only thing I liked in this kit was the eye quad. Great colors, mat finish (except for the darkest shade). However, the blush is far too light as is the lipstick. I had to apply the blush over and over again to see any color on my cheeks. The gloss was OK. But for the price, I'm returning the kit since I would only use the eyeshadow. We "mature" women (51) need a little more color in our products.
