I have asthma and allergies so I was happy to see this vacuum. I have only owned a Hoover. When I used this Dyson for the first time I was disgusted. I had no idea how much crud and grit was actually in my carpets. After 5 vacuum session Dyson is still picking up tons of debris. My Hoover could not get it up and I thought it had. After the first cleaning session the apartment smelled cleaned and fresh no need for room spray. It was clean. My favorite attachment is the mattress tool.

I really did like the vacuum, BUT, it left lines on my carpet, I spent more time trying to smooth out the lines then I did vacuuming. Sorry I had to send it back.

I received the vacuum two weeks ago and have used it five times and it's still picking up yuck stuff from my carpet...which I thought was clean!! This vacuum is amazing. I would like it if it would fit under furniture, like a canister vac, but we just use the tools attached and move furniture as needed. I wouldn't trade this for any other vacuum, not even the Electrolux, which a friend has and she wants Dyson after she used mine!

I bought this vacuum after having an Electrolux for 16 years. I thought it was good until I got this one. My husband unpacked it and hasn't stopped vacuuming yet! I am a clean freak but this picked up four cannisters from my 10x13 Karastan rug. I thought it was shaving the rug - but no... it was just rug debris, cat hair, dirt, etc... Totally awesome product. The only downside-it is heavy and too much for me to take up the stairs. Boo hoo - guess my hubby will have to vacuum that as well!

I've had many vacuum cleaners in my life, for years I wouldn't buy anything but a Kirby, then Oreck and so on. I've used the Dyson Alleryg two times since it came and am still getting yuck out of the large Palace Royal rugs I have, it's like they have never been vacuumed! If I could give this vacuum a hundred stars I would. Amazing is an understatement, there is no description to justify how good this vacuum is. You owe it to yourself to get one of these, you won't be sorry.

I got this out of the box, assembled it, and used it in my living room. But before I used it, I vacuumed my living room with my old cleaner and that yielded no dirt in the Hoover wind tunnel cannister. Then, I used the Dyson Allergy and Asthma that I ordered from HSN...yep, you guessed it, it picked up 19 cannisters of dirt just in the living room and dining area of my 1 bedroom apartment and I used my old vacuum 2x a week.

I just purchased this Dyson after returning another brand that was actually rated higher than the Dyson in Consumer Reports. For the first time in my life I am writing a review on a product, I believe is the absolute best when it comes to vacuums. Absolutely a must in every household, especially if you have allergies and asthma, and absolutely worth every penny!! There is no other brand, that will ever compare to the Dyson. Thank goodness for such a great product!!

I HAVE HAD MANY VACCUS BUT THIS IS BY FAR THE VERY BEST. I COULD NOT BELIEVE THE AMOUNT OF DIRT THAT CAME FROM MY CARPET USING THIS VACCUM. I WOULD ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO GET THIS VACCUM

This vacuum is AWESOME!! I have 4 dogs that will shed just petting them and this vacuum cleaner gets all the hair off the furniture and even more grungy dirt and hair out of the carpet. I can't believe what it picks up. Well worth the money. It will pay for it's self by not having to buy bags. It's more than I expected.

I love my Dyson from the color to the suction! When you vacuum it really does look as if you have gotten your carpet cleaned..my husband and I fight over vacuum now.
The only down falls I have are maneuverability (it can't get in small places). I also do like that the suction is so strong I cannot vacuum my bathroom rugs. I tried and it almost sucked up the whole rug fiber by fiber.
Overall this is a great product and definitely worth the investment.

I cannot say anything that has not already been said by evey single person who ever touched one of these, but I will say you will NOT be dissappointed. Worth evey dime and changes your whole outlook related to vacuuming!!

I LOVE THIS VACUUM!!! RIGHT BEFORE I USED IT, I VACUUMED MY CARPETS WITH MY OLD VACUUM CLEANER THEN USED THE DYSON. I WAS APPALLED AT WHAT MY OLD VACUUM HAD LEFT BEHIND AND THE DYSON VACUUMED UP. THIS IS THE ONLY VACUUM I WILL OWN FROM NOW ON!!

With my dirt devil, I went over my carpet twice in all rooms. Then used my Dyson and WOW!!! I have two dogs and birds so there is always a mess. My Dyson picked up all the hair and seeds that the dirt devil did not! One top of that, the canister was completely over full when I had just used my Dyson in my living area!!! Then used it in the bedrooms and another canister filled!!! I love it! Thanks Dyson and HSN, I am completely sold on this vacuum and it is worth every penny!

Yes, Dyson is expensive, but you will be happy with the results. Buy it and you'll see the difference. I was shocked at how much dirt it picked up that my Dirt Devil didn't.

I had just vacummed the carpet the day before with my old vacuum. The Dyson arrived and of course I had to try it out. WOW, I was amazed with what was picked up. I can't believe how quiet it is compared to the old vacuum.
I'm definitely happy I spent the money on the Dyson.

This is getting such great reviews so I though....I'll just buy one more vacuum and it will be the best I can buy....Weeell I have had it less than a week and the on-off switch quit...called Dyson and they said to go get it repaired...I check all the places that it could be clogged and nothing....I am sooo bummed! I liked how it worked and the wand to get the corners but upset that I spent that much on what was supposed to be a great machine.

Best vacuum I have owned, suction is fantastic, tools are great, my dog and I both have allergies, and both seem reduced since using this vacuum! It is an investment..but a worthwhile one (especially with the flexpay option;))!!

I ran my old vacuum cleaner over my area rug, and then I immediately ran my new Dyson back over it. One pass and the difference was obvious. I didn't have to look in the canister to tell how much it picked up that my other vacuum had left behind. The positive reviews on this vacuum are right... Great performance, wise investment. Oh yeah, I tested it on my window blinds. What a relief to know I now have a fast & easy way to get the dust off of those! Thank you HSN for flexpay!

This is the best vacuum I have ever used. The first time I used the Dyson was right after I vacuumed my carpets with my Oreck. I was shocked to see how much stuff the Oreck missed. If you are thinking about buying a Dyson Vacuum, do it today.
