This fryer is absolutely amazing. I've used mine 4 times already. We never fry anything so if the family wants fried chicken, I go out and buy it - fried it in the fryer and it was perfect. Ignore the negative reviews. This fryer is a must have. I drained it for the first time and it's true, you turn the button and it does all the work. Highly, highly recommended.

I used this fryer for the first time last night. Did a variety of foods....chicken wings, cheese sticks, tater tots, onion rings, & chicken fried steak. Everything was cooked perfectly....crisp on the outside, tender inside. Very simple to use. Drainage later was a no-brainer....I don't understand why so many complain about spillage. Impressed so far with this product.

This is the best fryer I've ever owned. Doesn't leave food greasy and cleans up like a dream. Love the way it saves the grease for you to store. Great !

I love this fryer so much that I have purchased 4! I bought one for my 22yr old son 3 Christmas's ago to use at his apartment and he loved it. I bought mu husband one the next Christmas and my son-in-law said it;s my turn next. I got it for him for his birthday last June and just ordered one for my oldest son for this Christmas. I have looked at fryers for 2 years until I found one with the features I wanted. I do not regret the purchase!

I purchased this and when I got it, I used it the very next day! My fries were so crispy, my wings were delectable. I made Biegnets over the weekend and they were light and fluffly and crispy! I made tots last night for dinner and they were perfect!
Cleanup is a breeze! Just drain the oil and wash the element and oil pan and you're done. It's the best deep fryer I've ever had and I would buy another if I needed it!
If you're worried about this item, don't be! I was concerned because I've read a few reviews that were negative. I swallowed my apprehension and bought it.

I received this Friday, and it's on its way back today (Monday). The first time I used the fryer, it drained perfectly. When I used it yesterday, it would not drain, and I tried serval times, so had to empty is physically and get ready to send back. If it only worked as well as it fries.

please read the instructions prior to giving a rating, the instructions are great or even see the video. I purchased this for the simple reason, it drains and filters the grease for you. My husband always helps me filter the grease. the first time i used this he was kind of upset that i purchased a new fryer. we are building a house and he wanted me to wait to use it until the house is built. after using it, he came in to help me drian and filter the grease like he would in the past, he said now what do i do, and when I said all you have to do is to turn the knob to the left and the rest is done for you, he was really surprised. he fell in love with it, and knew just why i wanted to use the fryer now instead of when we moved into the new house. I just wished there were two contianers to hold the grease, one for fish and one for items that has not after taste like fish. I like to use diferrent greast for fish. otherwise i score this a 5 plus

This is my third electric fryer, and it will be my last. If you don't fry, because of the mess, or burnt food, or because you don't know how, buy this. I never used to fry, then I purchased a fryer. Then I loved frying, because I could finally do it correctly. However, pouring the oil out was a nightmare. The Puck fryer I purchased could not even be put in the dishwasher. Yesterday I used this one for the first time. I made Emeril's beignets. My family loved them, they were delicious and easy to make. Clean up was so easy, I couldn't believe it. My son asked me to make them again today, and guess what, I SAID YES!! Now I feel like a good mom! Seriously, get this rather than almost any other special type of cooking small appliance. All the rest can be replicated in your oven or stovetop much more easily than this.

We received the fryer two days after we purchased it and we could not be happier. My wife made some fried chicken and some fries and they came out great. Way better than using the old fryer that she had. After it cooled down, the oil drained without any problems. Like anything else you have to follow the directions. You have to make sure that the lid snaps back on. I think that is where some people have had the issue. If it does not snap back on it will not drain properly. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

Only received this yesterday and used it once. Fixed "tater tots" just to see how it works. Fries beautifully. No problem whatsoever with the "drain" feature. The filter/drain itself makes this unit top notch. I had given up on deep fryers a long time ago because of the mess with cleaning or changing oil.
Unit is a bit pricey, but once you use it think it will be the filter/drain feature that wins you over. The keypad is a bit touchy, and it takes some getting used to. But, READ the instructions and take time to get used to it.
Frying is a breeze, and the tater tots were not greasy, left only small spot on paper towel I used for draining them.
Easy clean up as everything but key pad will go in dishwasher.
Take your time, read instructions and give it a go. I would have given it 5 stars if not for the touchy key pad. Again, the filter/drain feature itself makes this a standout unit.

I received the deep fryer several days ago and was very excited to use it for the first itme. Didn't have anything to fry so I went to the store for some chicken wings. And oh my goodness. The end results was excellent. The f amily said the wings where alot better then when i was frying then in the skillet. Also after the coolin down of the grease the oil drained with no problem.

I bought this two months ago and it has been the talk of all my parties. All the food comes out perfectly crispy on the outside but tender and juicy on the inside and in half the time than frying on the stovetop!! It truly is awesome and extremely easy to clean.

i used it 1 time and noticed after cooling down the coating or something to that affect was bubbling. I could take a spoon and move the bubble and pop it and some type of debrie came up to the surface.
was the only reason for returning the item for a refund.
the concept is out of this world and may rethink this return after the holidays.
design and features are 5 stars
the durability is what im rating on.

We have had this fryer for a while now. Used it several times. Yes the fries are crispy. That is about all the praise we can give it. Oil did not drain properly the first time we used it. Thought it was our fault. Tried it the second time. Wow it is Very tricky. But got we got it to work. Plug is So sensitive it unplugs to easily. Just touch it and it will unplug. You have to Reach over the top of fryer to set the heat control and then turn off the timer. Not safe. When lifting off the top cover Hot Steam hits your arm. Another safety issue. We will keep it buut will not let the grandchildren around it when using.

It was wonderful when we first received our fryer. We had chosen flex pay option, right after we made our second payment the fryer would not work. I contacted HSN they said it was past the thirty days or return and gave me the address and phone number to the manufacturer. I contacted them right away which I was told to mail it it in. I did, $35.00 later for postage. 3 months later and I still do not have my fryer back. I contacted them and was told will be 2-4 weeks more. They are waiting on a part. I thought they made the thing. It is great when it works, beware if it breaks.

This is a great product. Oil heat up in a few minutes and food is not greasy. The basket is a generous size. The filtration system allows for oil to be used several times before replacing. The clean-up is fast and easy. I would recommend this product.

I received my fryer and used it to fry fish and fries on a Friday night. I had no problem cleaning it or draining the oil. I love it.
