On air it was stated the crop-a-dile could be used for outdoor applications, such as repairing tarps, etc. I wanted to make outdoor curtains for our lanai. The crop-a-dile was on sale & extra boxes of grommets were too, I got extra grommets because I have several outdoor projects to do. Unfortunately the grommets were flimsy & cheap & I couldn't use any of them. I sent them back w/ the crop-a-dile because frankly I have a hole punch & that was all the crop-a-dile could do for me...punch a hole in fabric. I went a local DIY store & purchased good quality grommets & a hand tool to install them. (The dyes that are attached to the crop-a-dile rotate but none were big enough to accomodate heavy duty outdoor grommets.) Although I must say, HSN is very good about refunding promptly if a product is not to a customers satisfaction, so I have & will continue to purchase from HSN.

That is a lot of money to spend on a plastic container that doesn't fit the Crop-O-dile with it's feet on. That makes it more time consuming to put together and take apart. I wish I didn't get it!

Like the other reivews I waited to get this.The tool it was made for does not fit in it unless you disassemble it. Wish I had read these and not wasted my time and money. More expensive to ship back than to keep.I guess I will find something to put in it. I also bought one for a present what a waste.

I too spent a lot of time trying to get the punch to fit in the case. The instructions didn't say the feet had to be removed. Why would anyone want to screw the feet on and off so that it fits in the case? I waited months for this case to be in stock again and am very disappointed with it.
