I purchased this tote and loved it. I used it for the first time11/14/09 as a weekend bag and it worked out great. I received many compliments. The only disappointing fact is that the snaps on the sides (before putting a single item in the bag) will not catch. Even my husband could not get it to catch. I will not return it but i am dissappointed. I would recommend the purchase.

Would not recommend this bad. Very flimsy and collapses very easily. Save yoiur money on a better quality item then you won't have the extra shipping charges to return. Very disappointed with quality of this bag.

How in the world would you put your famous name on an item like this? If I hadn't have gotten mine on clearance, I'd send it back for sure. I got it so cheap that I should have known it couldn't be worth anything. I read some great reviews of this tote bag & can't believe that anyone could find one good thing to say about it, except that the clearance price is dirt cheap (like the bag)! I can't imagine that it would hold up to anything much inside, but it's so big that's exactly what anyone would want it for, (a tote to carry lots of stuff in)!

I received my bag today and am grateful that I did buy it at the clearance price. I'd send it back if it didn't cost so much to do so.
My thoughts: The bag's construction appears to be stable--strong enough for the average haul-around bag but I doubt that it would hold up to groceries. My main complaint is the handles: They are far too short. The tote is designed to be carried like a handbag which is okay if you are only carrying your cosmetics. If you have any more than that it the bag, it becomes very uncomfortable.

I have been eyeing this tote since it first premiered on HSN. I noticed that it was on clearance and ordered the only choice available...denim/red. I received my tote today and I have to say I was disappointed when I opened the box. I don't think this bag is global chic at all. It looks like something from a discount store. Well, I did pay clearance for it and I couldn't imagine paying full price for it. The handles are stiff, the side snaps do not close and one snap is broken. I put a few things in there and the bottom sagged a bit. I guess there is a reason why I waited so long to get this tote. One positive thing to say is that there is plenty of room to carry lots of stuff.

This shopping tote is so nice and big I can use it as an overnighter, plenty of room. Made better than I thought it would be. I love the big bags, especially when they come with extra bags, cosmetic bags, good value.

I purchased the red patent leather and its just beautiful! I use it to tote my Sunday School lesson necessities to church.
The roomy side compartments are ideal for smaller items (cell phone, e.g.), while the large size can hold more books than I can carry!
My daughter is jealous and would like to have used it for a diaper bag. Too bad! ;)

When I received the Tote bag I was shocked at how large it was. It can be used as a weekend overnight bag for sure. I love the Red patent leather trim work. I tried to order the Black one, but of course, it was sold out. Keeping my tote and loving it! Del

I gave this bag to a friend of mine, whose daughter is a college student and asked if she could use it. Her mother has still not had the bag returned to her. The daughter said that she loves using it at college for many many uses (laptops, books, lunch, etc), and her friends love the bag as well. I purchased the color red, which is very easy to identify in a crowd - so me and my friend are told. Great purchase for a gift!

I just received this tote in the denim and red, it is great. It is very well made and classy. I don't think it could be used as a purse as it is very large but I will use it on vacations as an overnighter bag. If you like BIG you should purchase this tote!

I purchased this bag when Iman first presented it on HSN. I used it for work for a few months, but the bag just didn't hold up. The bag just collapses, didn't hold its shape, and became unwieldy. Maybe as a beach bag it would work, but no longer an office bag.

I ordered an Iman Global Chic tote bag (in red) as a Christmas gift for a friend. However, HSN sent the denim bag by mistake. When I called to exchange for the color I actually ordered, the red bag was no longer available! How disappointing. The denim bag is nice, but the person for whom I was buying the gift specifically said she preferred the RED over the denim (when I asked her opinion, making her think I was buying the bag for myself). I only gave this bag 3 stars because I am very disappointed that HSN made this error and can't correct it.
