I use this all the time. I have a lot of handwash items, or sometimes I have something i need to wash, but don't have a full load so i'll hand wash then pop in my portable dryer. I love the convenience and the fact i don't have to hang things all over my bathroom anymore.

Helps to fluff wrinkles - I now dry all of my work clothes in this. Stops shrinkage, eliminated need to iron and don’t have to be there the minute the drier stops.
Changed my laundry habits to washing small loads through the week, hanging them up, putting them in the CloseDrier and forgetting about them. Can also clip a dryer sheet to inside of lid
Beats folding drying rack - nice looking and puts clothes out of sight.
From an official “laundry day hater” I love this thing!

My first order was for me; a lavender one, which still works very well. However I have ordered 2 different ones for my sister-in-law and one didn't even turn on. The 2nd one (thought I'd go with lavender this time as I have a good one)cannot be put together with the supports. There seems to be two different styles of this product. Mine has a fold-over clamp to hold the support in place. Anyone else have this problem?

When I bought this product several months ago it looked good on TV, however it takes a great deal of time even to do just one garment. I couldn't believe that Joy Mangano would offer a product like this as all of her other items are great.

I wish the key pad was located at the top rather than being at the bottom and depending on the thickness of the material and how damp....it can take a while to get things dry.
As long as I'm willing to accept it for what it is...a portable dryer. I like it. It's not meant to be a big powerful dryer....I'm glad I bought it. If you're looking for something to be able to hang a sweater in or have your tennis shoes dry in....this will work. It's NOT a powerful unit but it does work!

I absolutely love this product. I don't own a regular dryer and always had to iron all my work clothes. Thanks to this dryer, my ironing has been reduced by about 90%. I wish I had learned about this product sooner!

Today I tried this for the first time.. Didn't even turn on.. I have never been disappointed in JM products-- I Will never buy any electric product or anything expensive without first reading reviews... NOT happy that you endorsed this Joy M. !

This is absolutely the BEST item I've ever purchased from HSN. It's small, quiet and does the job! As a flight attendant, I don't have lots of time between trips, so I can wash my uniform and it's dry in less than an hour. Before I'd hang it to dry all night, sometimes wearing it back to work a little damp. Buying another as a graduation gift for my friend's daughter who is going off to college. It's quiet, convenient, and pretty. What more could a girl want??

At first, I was going to send this item back, but now I would not be without it. I thought the power was not strong enough at first but after trying it a few times, I realize it is more than powerful, it is just quiet. My delicates never shrink and everything come out great.

i have as good results hanging delicates & such in front of an oscilating fan. i was always finding my clothes at the bottom of the machine covering the air ports...drying intimates took hours, shirts longer, & wasn't going to waste my time to try sweaters! back it went!

Wish I'd purchased this sooner. I kept reading all the reviews and because of that kept deciding against ordering. I'm in the pool several days a week and to be able to really wash out the suit and know it's going to be dry quickly for the next day is what I really wanted it for. It works great for that, but now I've used it for jackets, jeans, delicates and so on. Now I don't have laundry hanging all around the washer and dryer or in the bathrooms. Would make a great gift for a college student!

I don't know why everyone is having a problem with there's.. ive had mine for over 6months and just love it! it heats up very well and dries rather quickly. Now that it's on clearance i'm thinking of buying another as a back up! If you live in Apt this is a great item to have. To dry 3 pairs of pants does take an hour is that bad? hey it's allot cheaper to run than a dryer or paying the dryer time for sure!

I love this product! Great for hand wash and lay flat clothes.
Yes it takes time to dry but it is very convient for what I need to dry. I hang a fabric softener sheet on the enclosed hanger and let the machine rip. To me this is a wonderful tool. Drying time is longer than anticipated but it does the job. This will save me a lot of wear and tear on delicate fabrics, plus I don't have clothes laying around my place. I'm in tri-focals and can see the icons to dry, easy to use.

I am extremely disappointed. I have had the same problems as other reviewers. It took over 1 1/2 hours to dry a lightweight pajama top and camisole. It's hard to believe it could dry towels. Put your hands on the bag; it is not very warm (on the high setting). Open it up and you can feel that there is not much air movement. It is a great idea and I believed the answer to drying hang up items without the extreme high heat of a regular clothes dryer. IT DEFINITELY NEEDS MAJOR IMPROVEMENT.

I am so sorry I ordered this item. The controls are on the bottom and are unreadable for a normal size person. Aged people would not be able to read this at all or be able to get down on the floor to try to do so. I am 61 and in good condition and I found it difficult. I also found it did not dry as quickly as it says. I will never let my guard down again. ALWAYS READ THE CUSTOMER REVIEWS.

I was about to call customer service to find out if I just had a bad unit.. our clothes didn’t dry after 4 hours of being in the unit on full fan and full heat. I thought maybe the heat element wasn’t working but, after reading the other reviews it sounds like everyone is having the same problem. Don’t buy this item it doesn’t dry your clothes any faster than hanging them to dry overnight. I still have 1 more week to decide if I am sending this back. Joy, I would redesign and up the heat!

Not at all what I expected. Took way too long to dry even a light shirt. Controls hard to see - used a flashlight and had to get on the floor to see them. I am returning it today.

Not good for drying four items at a time or 2 pairs of jeans. Only good for individual items. Not what I thought it would be. Will keep for special items only.

I used the closedrier for the first time and I was very disappointed. I followed the directions and entered the time as explained. I tried to dry four cotton T-shirts at the same time but after 2 hours, they weren't completely dry. The arms were still wet. I just thought it would work better than it did. I guess it will be alright if they are lightweight and single or double items but nothing more.

I used it for one hour -- total! It stopped working! I tried over and over. I waited and tried again. DEAD!
