I love using these when I'm measuring out spices. I bought two sets and am constantly using these. The rubber bottom is nice, too. I'm thinking about getting another set. These are also very elegant, makes you feel like a real chef!

These are just what I was looking for! They are tiny, probably 4 oz. or so, perfect for sea salt and poultry seasoning, as I don't use a shaker for those. The rubber bottoms mean I don't have to use two hands, I can pinch and not worry about knocking the container on the floor!

It seems to me that people that have written reviews do NOT understand what a 'pinch bowl' is supposed to be for. Pinch bowls are generally designed for spices that will be used in preparing a meal. They are small and handy so they don't take up too much space on the counter or prep place. You know...... a little pinch of this and a little pinch of that. Obviously they come in handy for tots and their snacks along with endless other uses.

I do daycare. These are great for single servings of applesauce, pudding or dipping sauce for the kids. The heavier weight with nonskid bottoms mean the bowls shouldn't go sliding off the table either but if they ever get knocked off, the bowl won't break. The cover won't leak as long as you push down in the center of it when you put it on. I like them!
