The color does not stick on pictures like they say it would. The little I manage to keep on the picture and not my fingers did not stick even after 2 hours. It would still smear everywhere. I tried it on paper as well... same thing. I'm returning it.

I was disappointed until I saw it on hsn this morning and after I started to scratch it before "scooping" it works awesome. I wish I would have gotten the glitter glaze and stencils when I got mine a few weeks ago.

These are the greatest chalks I've ever used. I would recommend them to anyone. I use them on all my scrapbook pages. They are easy and very clean. Scratch the top surface off like they say to do and then use the brush to color. The colors are just beautiful. Very bright and vibrant. I tried a photo and was very impressed. After two minutes it fully seals right on the paper. I rubbed my hand over it and it does not come off. Best investment this year.

I was not happy with this product. It seemed to smear and didn't apply well. I had more color loose in the tray and on me than I could get on the picture I was trying to color. Just not what it stated it was.

Loved the demonstration and was wondering if this is for real and it is! These pastels work wonders. She was right about getting them started by scratching the top off. Once I did that they work on any picture. I tinted all the black and white pictures of my daughter and they came out so bright. It looks like I'm a professional. These chalks make my pictures look great. They are easy to use. The more I use the brush the more vibrant the color.They also work on all my cards. Love it!

I really wanted this product to work, because I wanted to incorporate a different medium into my projects, but it would always smear. I am sending this back, I can not understand how she could get so excited about a product when it failed to perform. I think they need to go back to the drawing board.

When I saw this product on tv a few weeks ago, the young gal was using the chalk with a beautiful stencil and telling us how easy it is to use. Since the title of the product is The Stencil Collection Color My World Chalk Kit, I assumed that this kit would come with stencils or at least one stencil. I was a very disappointed when I opened the box and found just the chalk & brush- eraser- but no stencil. Lots of chalk colors for sure but no stencils.

The demonstration on TV was great. However, not so in person. I actually sent back as defective the first time. Received a replacement and felt the same. Difficult to use (especially on photos). Light colors did not show up at all and I agree with others the brush did not hold much and difficult to get the color where you want it. Very dusty, felt you wasted more than you used just loading the color. Love it see it improved. Thanks.

I really looked forward to using this product, but I was VERY disappointed because the chalk did not stick to my photos at all. It was nothing like the demonstration I saw. I tried the chalk on paper and it sticks better, but it still smears a little bit. I am not sure how they did the demonstration, because the second i touch the colored area the chalk wipes off onto my fingers. Nice selection of colors, but unfortunatly not worth the money.

I was looking forward to the chalks on my black and white photos. What is not explained is that the chalk does not hold on glossy photos. I had assumed they would be a little cream-like to adhere to photos so was quite surprised when they were like regular chalk and did not work on my photos. Loved the array of colors though and will use in other applications. Agree that the brush holds little chalk but so far have only used in smaller areas.

I saw the demo and was like wow! I have to have these chalks. I found out that they do blend together when going to the next color. I was making invitations and the colors bleeded together, so I was a little disappointed after spending thirty bucks on them. So it is up to you to spend the extra mula on these. I know next time I wont.

I love these chalks so much! I bought a kit a while ago and had to get this one for my mother so she'd stop begging for my set. I use them for stenciling. I didn't believe in non-smear until I tried these. I make all my own christmas cards, so it's nice to have something I can use quickly and with ZERO mess. I just tried them on pictures for the first time and it looks like it was professionally tinted. The DVD is loaded with great ideas, too. These are a MUST HAVE for any craftroom!

Received this a few days ago & broke it out today to put a thin shaded border around paper pieces & mats. The chalks are smaller than I expected & they DO create dust in the tray. I had to be careful it didn't migrate. Worst is that I followed directions, but the brush holds very little color. To create a 1/8"x2" line, I had to return to the color 3-4 times. It doesn't spread out at all. Yes, it sticks, but in a tiny area. It was lots more time & work than I expected. This is not for big or very dark jobs. I can't imagine doing a big stencil. Good news is that for small areas or photo tinting,it works very well and it does stick. Colors are great. The eraser works for the first minute or so, then it's permanent. Rub the brush on the eraser between colors, and there's no transfer. I'll use it, but not as much as I hoped.
