I have had the Duende now for at lease 2 to 2 1/2 months now. My husband and I both love the rich tone it has and as all of Esteban Guitars they are works of art. They are a joy to look at and play. We have 4 now and they are all out. We play them all. We have other guitars that we paid more for. They stay in their cases. We take them out once and awhile to play and make sure they are ok. Then put them back. We play the Estebans 98% of the time. We are both retired and love music. Don't be afraid buy one and enjoy it. If it isn't what you like you can always return it. I love that about HSN but haven't had to use it.

I HAVE 21, YES 21 OF ESTABAN GUITARS, YEA PROBABLY 18 TO MANY..QUALITY IS ALWAYS GREAT..SOUND IS COMBARABLE TO $3000 plus...WHEN A BAD REPORT IS POSTED IT IS PROBABLY FROM THOSE $3000 MFG COMPANY'S..THE DVD'S ARE ABSOLUTLY PRICELESS..THANKS ESTABAN !!

I am a (false) beginner and the guitar seems very nice. I played a guitar at an elementary level 25 years ago, but have not played since then. I am 55 years old and just taking up guitar again with this purchase. The lessons are good, but a little fast for me. I have to play back the video a lot. From what I've seen so far, this is a good purchase with guitar, case, lessons, and chord chart., amp., etc. I would recommend it to anyone. Mine has the nylon strings, but they are still a bit painful. I will try it any way and keep the guitar.

My 10 y.o. son LOVES this guitar. It is beautiful. Such quality.
Esteban can't be making a ton of money on these guitars. Look how much is included for such a low price. He really does do it out of love. You are a gift to people Esteban. You are a beautiful person. Thanks for finding a way to make guitars affordable to those who want them and would not be able to afford them at store prices.

I ordered two of these guitars and both had terrible workmanship. the inlays don't fit, there are huge gaps, i think the paint was put on with a paint brush. and i can't believe he actually autographed these guitars and still let them be sold. " some kind of quality control would be nice "

I watched Esteban on TV for 2 years selling his guitars ... I tuned in just to listen to him play and was weary of the product because of the cost and some reviews that are less than complimentary ... I am a minimum wage earner and every penny counts ... I play a little Blues on my Fender Strat. and wanted a classical so I bought this one ... I LOVE this guitar ... I have had it for over a year and I HONESTLY would not sell it if someone offered me $1,000.00 for it !!! That is not a lie ...

I got my guitar early this afternoon and it is awesome Looking !! I had been put off by some of the reviews but I finally decided to try and see. Esteban''s lessons are fantastic. The sound of this guitar is as good as some i have played at over 500.00 so i am sold and those looking for a quality instrument Look no further the Esteban Duende its a great value. Thanks !!!

I got my guitar early this afternoon and it is lovely. I had been put off by some of the reviews but I finally decieded to try and see. Nothing to lose, right? I am so very happy with this package. Esteban's lessons are fantastic. The sound of this guitar is much better than I would ever have expected for what I was paying. Very nice rich tones. The finish and artwork are above and beyond. All the extras made it an outstanding deal. Thank you so much, Esteban and HSN!

I've played for years and have several Classical and acoustic guitars. Taylor, Fender, Takamine, Ovation. I saw this guitar advertised on TV and thought I would check it out just for curiosity sake.. It was only 2oo bucks or so and if it stunk I would send it back.
I really could not believed how well it played. I play it all the time. Honest to God! It sounds bright and full and I love how the neck feels in my hands. ...thx Estaban

I have purchased several guitars from Estaban and been very happy with them. This one is TERRIBLE! Dents in the finish, finish rubbed off on the frets, actual holes in the finish where the decals are and all this slipped by quality control??? I purchased several guitars when they were made in mexico andhad no complaints. This is the second one I purchased since he changed to making them in China and they were both horrible quality. WILL NOT BUY ANOTE RESTABAN GUITAR MADE IN CHINA.

I received this guitar in excellent condition. 3 days sooner than promised! After reading the reviews,I was wondering if it was a good idea to make this puchase, but when it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised!The guitar itself is beautiful, and the sound is GREAT! This deal is worth the $ just for the lessons enclosed! I am a beginner. After the 1st lesson I was playing notes and chords! This is a SWEET deal for the $ and the guitar and amp arrived in PERFECT condition! Great product!

My guitar arrived in good condition and not as terrible as some other reviews have described. The only flaw I have noticed is a dimple in the finish on the back of the guitar, but it isn't distracting. I'm having a tough time keeping the bottom string in tune and am not sure if the string is just really stretchy still or if the tuning key is slipping.
The amp worked fine, and will use it when I get better!
All in all, this package deal is a great value and I'm enjoying the lessons so far.

Esteban's instructions are fabulous! Anyone can learn to play. Price of his guitar packages is phenominal when you consider the amount of money lessons would cost. Have purchsed 10 of his guitars. This, the worst quality yet. Neck was broken, horrible finish. Could see dots from printing on decals. 1st first guitar purchasd, Turquoise Edition, flawless. Something has happened. The quality in his guitars seems to be slipping. I hope Esteban receives comments. If I were him, would want to know.

I have purchsed 11 Esteban guitars todate. I have kept 5 for myself and family. I own two other Yahama guitars I purchased at a local music store at $450 plus $$$ for the case and extras. Yes the Esteban guitars compair in sound and quality! The Duende model is great! Plays great, looks great and sounds great. Displayed next to my Spanish Rosas, Black Silver and Natural wood Esteban Turquoise guitar it is a knock out! Great package! Great Value! Everything you need.

I bought this guitar for my daughter who has been wanting one very badly for a long time. It is absolutely beautiful and I like the fact that it comes with nylon strings making her learning experience so much easier. She was thrilled. I have just ordered my 3rd Esteban guitar to keep in my own collection. I'm 54 years old and have never played an instrument of any kind until 1 year ago. I'm very very happy!

The package of the chart and CDs and guitar is all very convenient. Please note that this is a nylon string guitar and not a steel string guitar. The amp is a little wierd. In order to play my guitar with it I have to adjust all the volumes and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I think it has a short in it or something. Other than that the guitar is beautiful and has a nice sound. I paid less for it than it is now and feel it was an OK deal.

I ordered my Duende about a month ago & got it 3 days early. Beautiful guitar ! Ive wanted one since I was a child, and I know I had the "it's Christmas" look when I opened it. The lessons are the greatest, and enable me to go at my own pace. My wife says Im really coming along fast with the lessons. I LOVE to pick this guitar up anytime I have an extra 5 minutes, and had NO problem keeping it in tune.I show it to anyone who comes to my house & they remark how beautiful it is. VERY impressed !

I am a first time Esteban and guitar buyer. THe DVD instructions are great to follow and rewind as needed. Thank you Esteban for wanting to and giving of yourself to do these time consuming DVD's. My 30 year old son is now playing the guitar everytime he comes over. Not to even mention how beautiful the guitar. THis is and has been a great new beginning in learning to play the guitar.

I LOVED this guitar. Expected far less because of reviews. Just lessons went too fast for me a beginner. But family members who play said sound was very good and the lessons were great for them. My left thumb is a problem and I was very sad to have to send this back. Have to rehab a bit more before trying again.
