I bought this purchase on August. 25 so I've had it a couple of months before writing my review. I love my sewing machine. From everything it does I would suggest 499.99 is a reasonable price, but I wouldn't pay more than that for the features. It works great on lots of fabrics except on knitted fabrics. I've used cotton interlock a couple of times from JoAnn's and it ate it 2 of the three times. It does come with a pressure adjustor though. It was on 1 which was the lowest and still done it. That just lets you know how good though this baby is and that it would sew through anything. I'm very happy with my purchase, I would buy it all over again v/s the other brands out there compared to brother.

I bought this machine just 6 months ago and it is already quiting on me. I DO ALOT OF QUILTING and want to do alot more, I am now looking for a better one. It cost more to repair it as it would be to buy a new one.

I have used Bernina Machines for years. I dedided to try this one and I am astonished! It does most of the things my $2000. Bernina does and some things it doesn't. I am very pleased for the great price.

I LOVE IT! So many features! The automatic thread cutter is fabulous and Brother has mastered the automatic threader - very easy to use and I wish I had it on all of my machines. I also love the way the feet stay organized in the compartment and are labeled. I am not a very experienced sewer and it's so easy to pick my stich and identify the correct foot to use without having to read the manual each time which can be very frustrating! I am really enjoying mine - happy sewing!

I ordered this machine, received damaged, sent back. Purchased 50 Stitch model from local store, it is Fantastic. Brother really must have listened to us when they put out this machine, it is really a great machine. Even if my model is only the 50 stitch it is the Project Runway model. I just did not want to wait the three weeks to replace my original order.

I have not had this machine long and have not used ALL the wonderful new features that caught my attention for this machine- This machine is loaded with high end features I can't wait to get started with.As always,you have brought us yet another "hard to find-hard to beat- product for the money!! Please try this machine,it is a definate one of a kind,loaded with features you will be excited about!

I am a beginner sewer and taking a beginner sewing class. I wanted a machine that was easy to use, and after reading all of the positive product reviews, I decided on this machine. It is so simple to use (even my instructor remarked about how quiet it is when sewing). There are many features that I have yet to try but you can bet I will be utilizing them soon. Also, I price shopped this machine and HSN offers the most extra accessories at no additional charge! :) Thanks, HSN.

I sew a lot of crafts and clothing, quilts also. I have owned computerized machines in the past and this one is great!. Simple to thread, and operate, beautiful features, the knee lift is fantastic! I love it. Five minutes out of the box it was set up and sewing perfectly!. I absolutely love it and will be doing a lot of projects with it. I cannot believe this machine was so reasonably priced and has so many nice features!

I have owned various Singer high end machines over the years and have loved them. After purchasing this machine however, I will never go back. This machine is super quiet and accurate. You can easily see when your bobbin is getting low. It is such a joy to own. I bought this to replace my old singer that also had an auto cutter function, but this one works smoother and quieter than I can believe. The sewing control is very precise. A purchase I will never regret. :-)

I've owned many high to low-end machines in the past 20 yrs. This machine purrs like a kitten, sews like butter, & has all the high-end features without having to pay the high-end price. The knee-lift presser foot is awesome! The large sewing bed is great for quilters (the pic makes it look small). I'm 200% satisfied & would highly recommend!

works like a charm. easy to use out of the box.if u want a machine with all the upgrades for a good price buy this machine. i have the brother serger and i love it. u will be very happy with the brother machines and this one is a steal.

This machine is wonderful. I wanted to use it for a while before I wrote a review on it. It is wonderful and I use it the most out of my three machines. I make all of my own clothes and this machine with its' built in thread cutter, stitches, etc make it sew easy. It is the one and only machine that I use for apparel sewing.

I am new to sewing, and have been looking for a machine for about a year. I wanted to get the right one, and this is it. I found it easy to get started, and have already done some of the alterations that I have had laying around forever. I was nervous that this was too much machine for me, but it is great. Love the Flex Pays, and the free shipping. Thanks to Brother and HSN, I am in heaven.

I can't say enough about this machine. Out of the box & ready to go. Better quality than the "other brand NEW model" (returned mine thanks to HSN policy) I am a total Brother convert. 3 machines now. I can do simple repairs & heirloom sewing for my granddaughters on this machine. Love the stitches & the built-in scissors,like the embroidery units. Sewing is a happy time not a job. Flex pay makes it even better. If you can swing the $$ do it.

What can I say? This is a wonderful machine and is my second Brother purchase from HSN
I am reworking an old quilt right now and am doing a stopple stitch with this machine. The stitch is beautiful - even and easy to do.
The bobbin is easy to wind and drop in. The knee lift is a dream - I am used to using a knee lift and was surprised to find one on such a reasonably price machine.
I am a Brother convert - Now need a Brother 1500!

this machine is awesome. i made a quilt and was very satisfied with the results. the scissors and knee lifter are a real plus. my high end machine does not cut my thread the directions are easy to understand and each stitch is just perfect. you will not be dissatisfied with the machine. it has everything you want in a machine. this machine is a great compliment to my sewing room.

I have sewn for many years and tried many types of fabric. This machine is a dream. I'm making a bridal veil for my niece and using the embroidery stitch for the edging. I made a dress last week with slinky stretch fabric that was impossible to sew on my old singer. I love, love, love, the threader and instant cut button. I have several projects waiting to be finished and can now that I have a machine that won't frustrate the heck out of me. This is a special machine/ great for the price.

I HAD BEEN LOOKING FOR A MACHINE TO DO WHAT THIS ONE DOES FOR OVER A YEAR, THE PRICE, THE QUALITY, THE ABILITY, AND MOST OF ALL, IT HAS ALL OF THE BELLS AND WHISTLES THAT I HAD BEEN LOOKING FOR WITHOUT PAYING 2 GRANS FOR. IT SEWS SOOOO GREAT, I SEWS PART TIME FOR A LIVING, HAVE BEEN SEWING FOR MANY YEARS SO I KNOW A GOOD MACHINE WHEN I SEE ONE AND USES ONE. SO THANK YOU BROTHER AND HSN!!!

I really love this machine. I got it last week and I've made a slinky knit skirt, valances, and I'm working on more projects. I love the easy threader, scissors button, and the walking foot. This is the first Brother I've gotten, and I think I'll be adding the serger and perhaps even the embroidery machine to this wonderful machine. This machine is very quiet.
