These containers are ok. Some things lasted a long time without spoiling or molding, but some food items did get moldy.

my peaches kept for 6 weeks in refrig.
had less luck on the counter, probably because it is so humid in MS.

Debbie Meyers green boxes are now a must in our refrigerator. Green beans, lettuce, broccoli and spinach all stay fresh much longer stored in these little treasures. True test was the pricey delicate mixed green salad that will not last more than a week in its original bag without getting black and slimey. Green boxes held these well for a long time!! you won't be sorry...

I have used both the boxes and the bags. I have given both bags and boxes to people and they rave about them. I have used them since day one and have had only the best results especially with lettuce and bread, dont know what i'd do with out the bread one, I can have bread in there for 2-3 weeks without a problem the same with lettuce. Only great words about these products.

Nice looking set, but I really can't appreciate any difference in using these products, than in using regular (& much cheaper) storage containers.

I tried the containers and disliked them. The food seemed to spoil faster. I returned them.

I have been able to use my veggies and fruits before they go bad. There are just two of us and I tend to buy more than we can eat for a week so this way we have it in the house longer and get the use of the food.

I was so excited when I ordered these. I told everyone about them, and could hardly wait to use them. Well, they arrived. I washed and used them, and every single thing I placed in them, from bread to strawberries molded and got stale. My family and friends were just as let down as I was. I will stick with my lock/lock, they never let me down. Sorry Debbie, but this product did not do it for me. I put them in the recycle bin because I didn't want anyone else to suffer food loss as I did.

This set came with nice sizes for storing bread and produce but I don't see any difference in the duration of time before something starts to spoil.

Very Nice Containers. They have a funny smell to them, but they inherit mold/fuzz. How can you keep the moisture out of these containers when all fruit and veggies are full of moisture. Don't waste your money

When I saw this item on HSN I was so sure it would work as advertised that I even purchased not 1 set but 2. After just days of storing bread and strawberries, both molded so quickly. If it was not beyond my 30 days I would return them both. Very Disappointed!!

I love these and they work for me. I put a loaf of wheat bread in it on Sunday and it stays fresh for over a week. I buy blueberries and they last up to two weeks. I always put a papertowel in them and turn them upside down to catch any moisture. I do wipe them off, but it's no big deal because I use the products in them daily. I put romaine lettuce in them and the lettuce stays fresh and crisp for 2 weeks.

Baked goods last longer, however seem to absorb a plastic taste. I have tried storing bread and cookies in these boxes and by day 2, they taste like plastic. I did have good luck with keeping lettuce and berries in them. Sad to say, not worth the money in my book.

First of all when I purchased this rating was higher, sounded good. Purchased bag of salad greens Sunday, today is Friday and it is ready for garbage. What a waste of money for this product. Did everything suggested, wiping condensation daily, no help. Only good thing is product seems well made, just doesn't do the job that I bought it for. Surprised at HSN representing this product.

I was very disappointed with this item. Bread/rolls/etc do not keep well in this, they seem to mold so much faster. Apples/bananas do not keep in these boxes either. The apples generate a smell that is unbearable when you open the container and the apples are so very soft and rotten. The only thing that I have found that keeps longer in these is lettuce. It does last a lot longer.DON'T BUY THESE IF YOU PLAN TO USE THEM FOR FRUITS OR BAKED GOODS. I have wasted more money then these container cost

I just returned from the grocery store when these arrived. I placed some salad greens in the container with the basket and by the NEXT MORNING the salad was brown! It was less than 24 hours in the container. I am returning the whole set. I am disappointed because I use the green bags and have used them for years with great success. Sorry this didn't work out.

Not worth the money. Ziploc products work just as good. Fruits don't stay fresher longer... they get mushy on the inside. I followed the directions and made sure everything was dry and even wipe the moisture out of the lid. I would like to see their efficacy reports against Ziploc.
They even have a strange odor.

These Greenboxes are WONDERFUL! I use them for bread, veggies, and fruit. The lettuce holder keeps my lettuce 4-5 weeks (WOW!). I de-core it, wash it, drain it, and put a paper towel under the drainer bowl, and then the lettuce and lid. EACH TIME I OPEN ONE, I WIPE OFF THE CONDENSATION FROM THE LID AND CHECK OUT THE PAPER TOWEL IN THE BOTTOM TO MAKE SURE IT'S NOT SOAKED WITH WATER(VERY SIMPLE). Pay attention to the condensation. That's the secret... I have also saved lots of $$$ by using them.
