I ORDERED THIS BAG IN TAUPE AND GRAY/CHOC .. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT WHEN I GOT THEM IN THE MAIL.. HOWEVER, ONCE I PUT ALL MY THINGS IN IT, IT WEIGHED A TON!! THE BAG IS HEAVY ON ITS OWN BECAUSE OF THE GOLD HARDWARE. SO SAD I HAD TO RETURN THEM :(

It's a great bag. You can use it as a slouchy Hobo or as a messenger. But the dog tag is really heavy. I think I'm going to remove it. Well constructed, and well designed. I wish there were a few pockets outside. Still I'll give it five stars!

I thnk the reason for so many good reviews of this bag is bcuz the expectations r not as high, atleast as high as mine. the original price 4this bag was $255! so i expectd high quality leather. dnt get me wrong its a nice lookn bag 8 outa 10, but it doesn feel as good as it looks! i purchased the blk on blk, the leather feels like, well kinda like fake leather. 2nd bag i got frm HFH that looks betta than it feels. beautiful gold hardware!

UPS just delivered, purchased the taupe color, the leather and patent leather trim is soft and supple of great quality.
The hardware is very very nice quality.
Overall its large and high end looking I love it!!!

Recv'd the cognac (brown) bag & it is GIGANTIC. The patent trim on the top of the bag seemed flimsy & the pebble leather of the bag was just okay. I guess I was expecting exceptional quality leather. I also agree w/previous reviewer about the black lining; items get lost in this vast bag. I'm 5'2" & this looks like a duffle bag on me, it's just too big.

i love love love this bag. I gave it just 4 stars because of the black lining. Come on guys ,everyone knows by now that black lining is just a big headache,especially in a large slouchy bag.Otherwise , the bag is amazing! I's beautiful and so practical. I love big bags and this one is so beautiful and doesn't look like a piece of luggage. I leave both straps on and just change how I wear it as the situation dictates.It looks great both ways.
