Superb quality & workmanship. Soft leather in muted & matte colored gold. The mesh links are all linked together with no areas coming apart. I am always concerned that the tiny tiles will fall off, don't see that happening with this purse. Looks like it will last many years with good care. I own numerous WD purses, this is among the best one made.

I received this bag a few months ago and haven't put it down yet. The leather is very soft the design is not too over the top, but unique. I have lot of designer bags which I have paid a lot more for and they are very heavy to begin with, then I put my stuff in and it gets heavier. But, this bag is so light and with my things it's just right. This is my first Whiting & Davis bag, I love it.

I received it yesterday & was so disappointed. I gave it three stars because the quality is very nice; however, there are no structured sides or bottom - in other words the front of the bag is attached to the back of the bag resulting in a bag that is not roomy at all. The fact that the front is stitched directly to the back does make it seem a little on the cheap side. If a little more thought had been put into this bag it would have been five stars plus. This is being returned.

I HAVE ORDERED OTHER WD BAGS THAT I RETURNED BUT I WILL KEEP THIS ONE. LEATHER EXTREMELY SOFT & METAL DESIGN LOVELY. I NORMALLY CARRY X-LARGE BAGS BUT THIS IS OK FOR ME TO WORK WITH. IT IS WORTH IT ESPECIALLY FOR THE SALE PRICE IF YOU LIKE VERY HIGH QUALITY BAGS THAT YOU WON'T SEE ALL OVER THE PLACE.

Received this handbag and it had deep cuts in the leather on one side of the panels. Of course, I had to return it because of these defects. However, if the overall quality had been good I would have requested an exchange, but the bag in general was cheap looking and certainly not worth the price I paid for it.

If you want to see yourself coming and going,this bag isn't for you.If you want high quality,unique design,and comfort on the shoulder,then this bag is perfect.It screams quality.I ordered the black/red.The leather is super soft,and the design is very neutral. I would describe the red as more of a spice color.

I eagerly awaited this bag as my second WD handbag and absolutely love this. I ordered the gold. It's not a very bright garish gold but is more muted and so is the roman design so will be a good neutral for my wardrobe. I believe this will be a seasonless bag which will last for decades if I care well enough for it and will not go out of fashion. I hope to get the black one at some time in the future.
