I just received my bag today in the red, and I am so impressed. Until now, I have mainly carried Coach bags, but I love this Barr + Barr bag. The leather is amazingly soft, and the bag is really sturdy. It is big enough to hold all of my things and then some. I highly recommend this line...it is fantastic!

I just received my bag today; I ordered the red and although it's darker than the pictures depict, it is still a lovely blue-red color. The front pockets are a bit narrow but definitely roomy enough for a cell phone or other small accessories. All in all, the bag is beautiful and very well made. I did purchase mine on sale but even if I had paid more, I would still feel it was money well spent!

This is a beautiful bag with wonderful leather. It is larger than I usually buy. I find it very heavy as compared to other handbags. It doesn't have feet on the bottom, which would help with the heaviness trying to stand it up. Would also be nice to keep the bottom clean of a good handbag. Not sure yet if I will keep it.

A steal at regular price! Get it on sale or you will be missing out! I got all three colors for the price that many would pay for one inferior name brand bag. These are gorgeous! This makes my 13th, 14th, 15th Barr+Barr handbag addition to my growing collection! You won't be sorry. Great design, beautiful leather, so elegant!

This is my first Barr + Barr bag and I am very pleased. I purchased the black six months ago and use it for more dressy occasions. The lining is elegant and has sweet love notes imprinted on the fabric. I love the combination of leather handles, patent leather body, and heavy gold buckles. It's a beautiful bag!

Pretty, well made bag that's poorly designed. There are several slits on the inside intended for credit cards. However, the slits are not deep enough and way too wide. No cards I inserted stayed put. The slots for eyeglasses aren't down far enough into the bag. When you zip the bag to close the bag doesn't close! The pockets are tight and small. This will become a 'knockaround' bag that will last a season.

I ordered this bag in gray and it is a beautiful, saturated neutral that is very versatile color. The crinkled patent leather is gorgeous & unlike regular patent leather does not show fingerprints. This is a classic, functional bag that was a good value at $150. A little wider than I'm used to though. Nice organizational features too. Thank you Helen Barr!

I ordered "gray" and it is absolutely NOT gray. I would say it's a milk chocolate color. It's just ok, not sure if I will keep it. It is also very heavy.

I just received the bag in red, which is one of the most striking shades of red I've seen on a handbag. Lots of pockets, good size, great quality patent leather -- and beautiful as well. I especially like the "love letters" lining. It's unique, plus it makes it easy to find what I'm looking for.

Have been using this bag for a few weeks and I am very pleased with it.I got it in the red which is a gorgeous shade and goes perfectly with my red AJ Valenci ankle boots
The leather is absolutely first rate.The size works well-big but not too big and the bag is not heavy
Lots of compartments.I tend to use the long zippered one more than the two smaller ones in front which while functional are mostly decorative IMO.However I can fit my cellphone in there as well as my hand which is not small

Very high quality bag, but for this price it needs to be practically perfect for me. The gray color is a gorgeous neutral dusty brown. My issue is the pockets- the 2 zipper pockets are so narrow that they are unuseable for me. My larger cell phone won't fit in there without scraping against the zippers every time I get it out, and even though I have a very small hand, I can barely get my hand inside those pockets to retrieve keys. Almost all inside pockets too small too! will keep looking!
