It is not a heavy piece but filled with ice or liquid who wants it heavy. I think it is a pretty piece and with his ladle it looks classy. Better than the old stand by glass with the tacky plastic ladle, YUK.

I really expected better from WP. This bowl is NOT as heavy duty as I was expecting. Pretty light weight stainless steel. However, I am keeping as I like the pedestal style of it. I feel the pricing was too high for the quality.
