I purchased this for my husband, as he loves to fry turkeys at Thanksgiving.The meat is juicy and not dry and the outside is crispy just like when fried in the traditional method. Peanut oil has increased in price to 48.00 for a 3 gallon jug, so this cooker is a great money saver. Two complaints;the box looked terrible when we received it, and one of the holes to attach the drip pan was not drilled. My husband had to drill it himself. This is a great product and we highly recommend it.

I purchased this cooker 3 weeks ago/ When it was delivered the vox looked like it went through a war zone. I contqacted H.S.N. and told them what happened. i have used the cooker 3 times and now the welds that hold the basket together have come loose.
It may work for some but it's not for me. The turkey wasn't done and when I left it in a few minutes longer it was burned.
Any body out there wasn to buy a used cooker CHEAP!!!

The good news: delicious chicken in a short time. It was so moist it fell off the bone. It didn't taste as healthy as it was! The bad news: what a pain to clean. The inside basket must be really well coated or you will spend an hour, like I did, using an SOS pad and question whether it was worth it. I'm going to use it for Thanskgiving but learn my lesson with that basket!
