This necklace arrived yesterday. It is beautiful to say the least. The colors in the opal are vivid. The setting is perfect for this stone. It is more than worth the $99.00. If you buy this necklace, you will not be disappointed.

I love opals! But this one comes on a cheap chain and has to be changed out. There was no sparkle in the sets anywhere around the opal. The opal itself was dull it was very close to a grey. And the most weird thing about it-it looked like a eye ball.
I so wanted this one to work out! Not at all like presentation.

I have the same thought,this was very pretty and different but very small and I wondered how it could have even cost the clearance price.I'd take it in silver for less than half the price.Very little gold,the chain was throw-away.

I bought this on sale for $99.95. It was discounted from $299.90 so I thought I got a deal. It looks cheap: No sparkle in the setting and the "opal" is an uninspiring, dull, green, stone. Also, a price tag was attached stating that the original price was $89.99 slashed to $29.99. This piece is worth $29.99, at best, not the "appraised" $600+ stated on HSN's website. I've purchased several items from HSN. This "price tag" makes me wonder if I overpaid for other purchases.

Blues, greens, pinks and yellow. This makes up an opal. This is my birthstone, and it looks just like the video. I have other opals, and this one is equally beautiful. Go for it, you won't be disappointed.

While this appears to be well crafted, it is small and doesn't make an impact. The diamonds aren't sparkly, and the opal doublet itself just doesn't show up well around the neck. It's blah. Even at the sale price, I'm sending it back. Frankly it looks like it should cost around $40.

The pendant I received is quite different from the one shown. Mine does not have the deep blues and greens, but is more of a grey with bright flashes of red, blue and green. Be aware--doublet means a very thin slice of colored opal with clear opal or quartz laid over it. The value is much less than opal alone, but much more durable. The pendant lays nicely. The chain is thin, but I have other fine jewelry from the 60's with the same chains-all intact.

The stone in the necklace I received is just a great as the one in the picture. At this price, set in gold, you can't go wrong and I would pay this for the pendant without a neck chain. I'll probably put this on another chain just because I'd rather see it on something sleek, or a box chain, to mirror the design of the setting. Grab this up while you can!

The blue is not the same as on presentation.I am not sure if I am going to keep this.I have no idea how it appraised at over $600.00 dollars.

This is a larger pendant. The opal is beautiful. I believe the clearance price is good for this piece and was higher before because it was a designer piece. However, the diamonds are as described, sparkly and very small. There are 2 on the bail and only a few around the opal. The rest of the piece is as described, beaded white gold. The chain should be replaced immediately. With the right chain this is a stunning piece of jewelry and I highly recommend it.

I purchased this necklace because it looked stunning on the show hosts neck. However, the lights in the studio and the cameras must be highly magnified. The chain is so cheap and tiny you wouldn't dare wear the pendant for fear of losing it. For 300+ dollars and only 10K gold you would think they wouldn't scimp so much on the chain. I did'nt expect a spectacular chain just one that would hold up. If you buy this necklace purchase it for the pendant it is not worth the 300.00 however.
