I love this. I buy a variety of flavors of the little boxes of rice and they come out great, I just take out about 1/4 cup less of water from the instruction amount. I've also tried the Chicken Helper varieties and throw in some rotisserie chicken pieces and it's done in no time and it taste great. I can't wait to see what other things I can cook up in this, I'm considering buying the cookbook that's offered. It's great for cooking for 1 or 2 people.

I AM HATING THIS MACHINE. IT MAKES A MESS EVERYTIME I USE IT. I HAVE TRIED TWICE AND I FOLLOWED THE DIRECTIONS TO A T'. THE CONDENSATION CUP ON THE SIDE SPILLS OVER, THE VENT ON THE TOP SPEWS LIQUID ALL OVER THE COUNTER TOP, I HAD TO PUT A KITCHEN TOWEL UNDER THE POT DURING THE COOKING STAGE TO ABSORB THE FLUID. I ADMIT THE RICE WAS GOOD. BUT THE MESS IS NOT WORTH IT. I CAN COOK RICE IN MY POT ON THE STOVE JUST AS GOOD AND NO MESS TO CLEAN UP WHEN I AM DONE. WOLFGANG PUCK THIS ONE IS A BUST.

Bought this rice cooker & receipt book and they are both very good - well worth the price. I've cooked the mac and cheese and it's the best I've ever made. It's the easiest machine to use, throw some ingredients in, press cook - come back later and feast. I've also tried the beer battered ribs & they were even more delicious. Bottom line, this thing works, cooks great meals, different meals, easy to clean & the price is well worth it.

I am so disappointed in this product "AWFUL". I have tried so many of the recipes and my family has not liked any of them. This pot is not easy to use and I find myself standing by it more then if I used my stove. Directions in the cookbook are awful and I have followed them to a T because if you don't BEWARE!!! I wasted my money on this and unfortunately didn't return it soon enough. I am thankful that this was not expensive or I would be even more upset.

I purchased this after seeing the TV demo and have been very pleased so far. It takes a bit of getting used to if you normally cook everything on the stove top, but if you read through the directions and follow them exactly, you'll be fine. The instruction book has a few recipes, but I recommend getting the cookbook "Rice Cooker Creations" by Debra Murray. It's the perfect size for 2-4 servings.

You do have to experiment with the diffrent type of rices. There is a condensation cup un one side that I think is hard to clean out. The opposite side of the pot condenses little drips onto the counter. The vent on the lid has also boiled over onto the counter, even though capacity was not exceeded. Inside of lid takes a bit of time to clean out residue under the silicone.

I returned this after two uses (one long grain, one brown rice "experiment".) It is much harder to use than a simple pot, and requires much more clean-up. The plastic cup that collects water is a strange and non-functional design (and I did follow the instructions carefully). If you want to try some of the other types of recipes maybe you'd like this, but this is not useful for cooking rice.

I could never cook rice and it not be sticky. This rice cooker is a no brainer and I love it. I now don't have to ask someone else to cook the rice. You will not be disappointed.

I like this rice cooker. Even though I think the directions could be clearer. I had some true trial and error figuring out the right liquid levels for all the different types of rice I cook. Brown, Basmati and Jasmine. The Brown rice created a mess in the kitchen the first time overflowing onto the counter. The Mac and Cheese recipe is awesome and I think I am addicted. I am definetly more happy with this Rice Cooker now.

This is the first time that I have bought an electric rice cooker. I wish that I would have done it sooner. It is the easiest thing that I have ever used. I fixed Paella and it came out GREAT. There were very few steps involved in the making of this dish. You kept it simple and easy and I thank you for that. So many appliances there are a bunch of steps involved in its' production. I would recommend it to anyone.
