I was excited by the price and the color (red), but when I got them I was very disappointed. They look cheap, the glitter comes off and the room must be completely dark to see any light. Don't waste your money on these! Sent mine back for a refund!

i like the light,it's well done. no timer so you have to make sure you switch them off, the problem is with the glitter it's cheaply applied on the wax so everytime you touch the candle it comes right off and it leaves a spot on the candle without glitter..it's that bad..

These candles are certainly not HSN quality. Very inferior, glitter wipes right off and gets all over everywhere. Not much light from the candle glow either. Don't waste your money. Returned for refund!

Well this one depends on what color you get.. i got red and silver.. i LOVE the silver.. it looks so real you cant tell at all that it isn't a real candle.. as far as the red goes.. the candle is to dark to see the light through the candle.. you can see it out of the top.. but really dosn't look real.. the silver has a white candle that you can actually see through.. beautiful.. go with the silver you will not be sorry.. i am giving the red away for christmas.. lol.. i am so bad.. ha ha.

I got the red thinking how beautiful they were. I haven't had the glitter falling off yet BUT... You can't see the light. I guess if the room was totally dark you might could. I didn't check the reviews and am I sorry I didn't. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY no matter how good the price if you want a candle that glows. I guess I'll do what the previous reviewer stated and take the glitter off. I almost order a set for my daughter in law and am glad I didn't. These are worthless.

The glitter fell off in big strips from both the red and the gold as soon as I took them from the wrapping. Then little pieces fall off each time I touch them. However, the only way you can tell that the red candle is red is WITHOUT the glitter. With the glitter you can't see any glow. I will keep the red and take off the glitter. The gold will have to go back because with out the glitter they look just like the pearlescent candles (item number 367357, but they are beautiful and good quality.

While the flame looks authentic, when you handle the candle, large pieces of glitter slide off the waxed surface.
