Black Vintage Rose Satchel by Clever Carriage Company Different, handmade needlepoint front and back. Shades of red and pink cabbage-roses with black background. Black croco-embossed leather trim, piping, sides, bottom, handles and interior trim. Flat bottom. Goldtone feet. Padded handles. Top open with goldtone hinges. Leopard print lining and logo ribbon. 1 zipper pocket and 1 cell phone pocket. Clever Carriage hang tag and romance card. Clever Carriage black cloth shopper inside. Approx. 16-1/2"L x 7"W x 9"H with a 5"L handle drop. 100% wool needlepoint. 100% red croco-embossed leather. 100% leopard print cotton lining. Fabrics/needlepoint and leather imported, constructed in the USA. Kim Isaacsohn, Clever Carriage designer and Head Coachmen, was influenced by Victorian Rose paintings, and needlepoint is one of her favorite crafts. This is a seasonless bag that is an investment and sure to be an heirloom someday.

This is my 3rd Clever Carriage purse and luv all 3 including this one. I have been looking for an oldfashioned looking rose needlepoint handbag and this fits the bill. Well made and sophisticated. Easy to find anything I put in my purse. Also I really like the distressed look of the leather on this and my springboc purse made just like this one! A winner in my book!

This bag was so much nicer than photo,it's not shiny leather,looks a bit distressed,in my opion that makes the bag look so much nicer!
At the price they offering get this bag ,(not to big not to small perfect bag and the colors and work done amazing!Don't miss out!
I'm a bag fanatic I own at least 70 bags,from all different designers Shariff,Timmy Wood,Mary Frances.....this is by far my favorite!

I just received this bag and the needlework is absolutely beautiful; however, the leather is not the same quality as in my previously purchased "Antique Rose" bag. The "Antique Rose" satchel also came with the shoulder strap which I love. This bag did not generate excitement for me like the AG did.

The needlepoint is excellent, however the leather sides and handles are not top quality. The leather appears dried out and might flake off over time. I own the red color cabbage roses(called "Antique Rose"). Both the leather and needlepoint is beautiful in this first edition. Also, the red satchel came with a detachable shoulder strap. For this price it should have quality leather and the same accessory included. Price point is around the same, but the quality & value has decreased.
