After a while of using my steamer it smelled weird, so I replaced the filter and now it keeps it working perfectly and the release of steam is more clear.

This review is for the mop and the replacement filter. The mop is great, I no longer use cleaners on my floors since purchasing this product. As far as the water filter I have had my mop for almost a year now and have yet to replace this filter. I do use filtered water which does increase the longevity of the filter. Great product!!

Keeps my Bissell Steam Mop at optimal function. The last one lasted for a few years with weekly use. I now use distilled water to help cut down on mineral deposits

I bought the Bissell steam mop from HSN and I really like it.So I was concerned whether or not I would be able to find the replacement filters.I decided to get this while it was offered and hold as a replacement.I do use distilled water in my Bissell so the filter should not have to be changed out often.
