I purchased this because I have 2 dogs, which I took to the vet every 6 weeks for a nail trim. Thought I would save money but... It did not work as shown! It absolutely did not work on my older lg. dog, Not sure if her nails are just to tough or what and the smell was horrible. My small dog was horrified of it. So, back to the vet every 6 weeks. Also, my vet was not impressed. Passed my 30 days so I'm just stuck with it. Maybe I can sell in garage sale or something.

This nail tool works well on my dog. Why does HSN not make refills available??? Why does the customer have to deal with unknown sites to order refills??? That does not sit well with me!

I bought this for a friend who has 3 little doggies and gave it to her for Christmas. She's used it on all of them now and says it works GREAT and she's so happy she no longer has to take her doggies to the groomer to get their nails trimmed.

I have a silky terrier, Bootsie, who is afraid if I just pretend to cut her nails with my fingers. Well, I followed the PediPaws instructs to a "T" and Bootsie is SO relaxed with this machine! I asked my vet about the PediPaw and she said the other "patients owners" who have it cannot stop raving about it. THANK YOU PEDIPAW FOR RELIEVING MY BOOTSIE FROM THE ANXIETY OF TRADITIONAL NAIL CLIPPING! :-)

I have two dogs who hate traditional clippers...I thought this would be an easier solution. I expected it to take longer than regular nail clippers, but in turn it would not be painful to my dogs at all. I am happy to say I was right! I took the guard off (which I know you aren't supposed to do) and used it like a dremmel. It isn't instantaneous but it does work and my dogs are no longer afraid. I also don't have to worry about hurting them!

This is the worst product! Don't waste your time or money. An emoryboard works better than this product.

I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY 3 DOGS. I DID IT AS IT SAID BUT MY DOGS NAILS KEPT GETTING CAUGHT WHICH SCARED AND HURT THEM. I THREW MINE AWAY .WAIST OF MONEY

I was excited to get this product as I have a Golden Retriever who hates to have his nails cut. When I used the PediPaws on the dog, I found it took a lot longer to get his nails to the right length. I had to keep tapping,tapping,tapping the trimmer and it ended up taking triple the time on EACH nail. Plus, the grinding gives off an unpleasant odor. I have gone back to using regular nail clippers...I figure the shorter amount of time is worth the anxiety.

The PediPaws Platinum (PPP) has noticeably more power! I have a 75 pound Brindle Pit Bull named Sasha that I use the PPP on. As a time saver I trim her nails with nail clippers first then I use the PPP to get to the desired length. Sasha & I like the new PPP and with time you will too!

I did as the directions said so and ease to your pet. My shar pei would ran and hide. I could not get close enough to see if it would work. The noise scared her. And returning was a nightmare. I would suggest not to buy it or less your dog is sedated.

When I got my item, I was so excited to be able to trim ny dogs nails, but it don't have enough power to do anything. I have a German shepard/Husky dog and was so disappointed in this product, It was a gift too. I hope they will refund it for me.

After reading the pamphlet that came with Pedipaws, I got my four dogs used to the noise by turning it off and on several times through out the day for several days. Then trimmed one or two nails on each dog for several more days. Now they are so comfortable with pedipaws,nail trimming once a week is no longer a problem. It was so worth the time and effort. I would say this works great. Did the they said to do and it work good. I use it on my boxer and he does not mind it at all. Would buy another if i ever need one.

this gadget did NOT work,got it for my cat and she hates it, tried several times a week for almost 4 weeks and her whole nail and toe goes into the hole, it burns her nails, she hides when she hears me turn it on. My husband tried it on his own nail and said that it made his nail really hot...its almost cruel to use this on my cat, will continue with regular nail clippers...the concept was good but the final outcome was bad. very unhappy with product, shipping back!

My Yorkes protested big time.. I followed all the directions and tried for days to use this tool.. no way.. Max even bit at me and I could not calm a little 8 lb dog.. He went under the bed and peeked out at me all day.. so HSN you are getting this back.
At least it only cost me 2.75 to send it back to you..

This did not have the guts to trim my 100# doberman's nails. I can trim his nails with clippers but he absolutely will not tolerate this trimmer + it won't begin to trim his nails. Also have two schipperkes & it will trim their nails...for a short period of time b/4 it stops. Will return.

I thought this would be great for my dogs and even with slowly introducing it to them, they weren't going for it. My dogs cried when using it. I noticed it is also selling at Walmart for the same price but it comes with two extra filers and in the original box. Very disappointed in this.
