I got the bone color at the sale price. The tassels are kind of big.the rope handles are very thick and the faux bone handle can slip off the shoulder.
But when I realize it is a weekender and I can put all my stuff in there and use it for that., it seems worth it.I might tie a small scarf around the handle or a few western charms to give it a diff. look. Even a few turq. beads might work or wear a turq bracelet with it.
It did catch my imagination ...:>)

Shortly after the bag arrived, the pin holding the handle on broke. Unfortunately the leather repair shop would not fix it for me. I now use the bag with a nail as the pin, but the end of the nail often gets caught in clothing, etc. Disappointing for a bag at this price.

I've been looking for a bag big enough, but small enough to use daily. I have a granddaughter who loves Gram to carry her special things in my bag. This one does the job. Love the size, love the color and texture of leather, love the pink inside, Got the bone color, love it! This is my first Sharif, think I'll be back for more.

I got this in the brown & I love it! The leather is soft but sturdy & artistically tooled & gilded. The shape is great & I love the bag's design.Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the leather,altho beautiful lambskin,is made up of pieces,like patchwork. Also,would have preferred leather to the manmade trim.Wish the bag was 16" or 17" instead of 21" so it could be used as an everyday handbag instead of just an overnite bag.

I received my brown bag and was not happy with it, I am sending it back. Poor quality leather and the straps and fringes are very cheap (they are not leather) looking for the price of the bag. If I pay almost $200 for a bag, I want my straps to be at least leather.

I AM CRAZY ABOUT THIS BAG! I GOT THE CREAM COLOR. I'M SO GLAD THE LEATHER ISN'T THICK. IT WOULD BE WAY TOO HEAVY SO THIS IS AWESOME! I WANT THE BROWN ONE ALSO BUT IT IS SOLD OUT......PLEASE BRING THIS BACK IN BROWN! I HAVE MORE BAGS THAN I CARE TO ADMIT AND ...THIS IS MY FAVORITE BAG!!! I WANT EVERY COLOR IN THE RAINBOW!!! The good news, great concept and the finish on the leather is beautiful. Now for the not so good news; the leather on the body of the bag is very thin, the leather trim looked cheap and I don't think the quality of the bag warrants the price of admission.

I received the bone color. The handle was only attached on one side, the ring for the other side was laying in the bottom of the bag, but the pin was not there. The wood piece was scratched. I own at least ten Sharif bags. Was very disapointed in the workmanship.

I ordered the Brown and couldn't wait to get this bag; well after seeing it and a few friends looking it over we all agreed that the leather was thin, the bag is huge and bulky so I sent it back. I didn't think it was worth the money.

I ordered the bone . The handle came off as soon as I lifed it out of the box. I really love it, it's beautiful but I'm sending it back....I have ordered two reds one for me and one for my daughter. I hope they will be better.....I am also
having the bone color sent back to me, hopefully this time

I was lucky enough to get the brown and its gorgeous. The leather is soft; the colors beautiful, the tassel and handles so unusual. I was worried that the piece of bone on the handle would be uncomfortable on the shoulder but as long as you shift the bag either slightly forward or backward its fine. Its a bag that people notice; have received several compliments.

My only complaint is the "golden" finish. Other than that I like this bag a lot. It is leather which is imported with so many Sharif's plastic bags, and the leather is very soft. Handle is long and very atractive and comfortable. It is big; not for anybody who only likes small purses.

I didn't see the presentation but watched the video. I ordered the red and it looks like a very old tapestry. It's so soft. The handle is really innovative and comfortable. The drop length is perfect. The trim is a perfect compliment, love that suede tassel!! When you wear a Sharif bag you always make a fashion statement. I think I have 15 bags and I alwayw get many compliments on all of them. Thank you, Sharif! I can't wait to see what your dreaming up next next!!

The leather is very, very soft. I purchased the bone and its lovely with gold accents. I've purchased many Sharif bags and have many in my collection. I've also returned a few. I won't be returning this. If you're looking for a big slouchy bag, you will be pleased. The handle is comfortable and slick looking with the horn accent. Go ahead, it's worth it.

This purse is the one that I love the best. I've bought several of Sharif's bags, and now I've fallen head over heels. I'll be looking for reasons to carry a red purse. It smells heavenly. It's also very soft and cuddly.
