This my first fire opal piece and I am very satified with it. It's something I can pass on to my granddaughter one day and I'm sure she'll cherish it.

I love tanzanite and this ring is so much fun to wear either dress it up or just everyday entire. Its simple enough to match white gold or sterling silver pieces you might have. I also love that the tanzanite stands out in a brilliant purple that I love. I know tanzanite should be more blue but I prefer the purple.

I bought the Fire Opal & Tanzanite rings for $49 each during the Tucson Gem event. The rhodium plated silver is gorgeous. The fire opal is a vibrant red-orange color & is beautiful. The tanzanite isn't the best quality, but what do you expect for $49? You can't buy a 7x5mm loose tanzanite of the poorest quatlity for $49. It's a very pretty ring, even though it's the pale violet variety & it has a lot of inclusions. That being said, it's still an excellent value. Will definitely keep both rings.
