Thank god someone still believes that a hand bag is beautiful just based on th quality of the leather! Love the clean lines soft leather,it conforms to the body,stays on the shouler, has plenty of room,but does not weigh to much.

I just received this yesterday..was so excited to get it...bought the Magenta well it is on its way back..it just wasnt for me..I am not used to that large of a purse..I might of kept it but..I didnt like how the handles laid on my shoulder..they wouldnt lay together they looked way to wide for me..but very good leather :{

This is the perfect bag for me. The size is big but not gigantic. It is surprisingly light weight. And, the best thing is it opens wide enought to see everything inside easily.

I got this in fuchsia and orange. It is simply stunning and the leather is so soft and rich. The problem is that I am so addicted to Barr + Barr that I have over 30 of them now and can't justify keeping two of them in the same color (except black). I have the pebbled leather satchel in the same two colors so I'll choose one and send the other back and I'll cry!!

I LOVE, LOVE this bag!!! I fell in love with it online and when it arrived, it was even better in person. I can appreciate a fabulous purse, so ladies if you love quality, vibrant leather bags--this is the bag for you. For a big bag, it's quite light, which is a definite plus for me, because usually big, leather bags are very heavy. Ladies--you will not be sorry...I promise. I'm sure you'll enjoy as much as I do.

I ordered and received this bag in orange and boy, am I glad I did. It is a terrific bag; so easy to see what is inside yet I feel secure when carrying it. I L O V E the orange and am thinking about ordering same bag in a different color. Definitely a plus. I like the absence of hardware and supple soft pebble leather.

I must say that this bag has me looking over my shoulder like I going to get caught carrying stolen goods. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this bag. What a steal of a deal. QUALITY leather and construction. Do not hestitate. I'm petite but love big bags. I do not feel overwhelmed with this tote. This bag is light weight and roomy. I'm a bag snob that will proudly strut with my new orange companion (handbag). This is my first Barr + Barr bag. I will be seeking to make another "getaway" purchase.

Would have said "Like Butta" but the other reviewer beat me to it. Best quality leather I have seen in a long time. Baby-skin soft. Got the Magenta, which is an old rose color.
I know I'm going to grab this bag over and over again, leaving the others in the closet. Like carrying your favorite blankey, WITH Style!! In black or brown the bag might be a little boring, in Magenta it is stunning and stands out. With jeans and a white shirt, YUM.

I don't want to send this bag back but will probably have to. Pros: fabulous detail, sumptuous leather that will get softer and more beautiful with age, no hardware, slochy, easy to find everything, beautiful lining. Cons: for me, too large (I'm 5'3") and the bag really only looks good with lots of stuff in it--which is a positive for most people but not for me. I knew the bag was large but I always forget that the models are tall and I am not.

This is as good as as it gets...and I've had 'em all.....you can get at all your stuff and still snap it all in securely....and the leather is soft and dreamy...and I just LOVE the great size....not too big and not too small...they nailed it...thanks!..KEEP 'EM COMIN'!

I bought this bag in orange and I Love It! This bag is a hit out of the ballpark for Barr+Barr. There is NO Heavy Hardware. A sexy bright colored bag in soft, cushy leather. I plan to buy it in Magenta as well. Sooooooooo tired of bags with heavy hardware! Meg

Very bohemian! Looks as if you found it in a fabulous off the beaten path boutique. Love the size, the shape, the absense of hardware, the smushy leather, the chunky funky handles, and the raw edges on the exposed seams. The orange is a little bit neon, but love the bag!

I have had my eye on Barr+Barr for awhile and this one in particular. I'm a real "bag Lady" :). Finally I just gave in and got it in orange, a color I never wear. OMGosh. It is beautiful. And the orange is a warm, friendly orange not an "in your face" orange. Like another reviewer mentioned, I too like that there is no visable hardware. I am so tired of looking at bags with all this stuff on them. Give me quality materials and simple style and I'm happy.

I would call the style of this bag "Shabby Chic"-you place it over your arm against your body-it conforms and feels like great leather- smells like a horse saddle - I love that! You can place alot of things in it or not--it looks great empty with just a wallet.
Bought the orange and will use it lots this spring/summer- worth the price as well considering that couture bags with the same design can be hundred's of bucks--atleast.
