I order 2 of these gutars. I put it off because of the reviews. I said what the heck I'll order them if they aren't as nice as my other Estebans' I'll just send them back. Well what a suprise I had when we opened the boxes. They are wonderful in looks and sound. We have 3 other Esteban gutars and love them all. They great to look at and the sound is great. I never write a review until I have the product for at least 2 to 3 months so you know how the product really is.

Wanted to start playing guitar again after 40 yrs. Had been looking on the internet and in the stores. Just wanted to get an inexpensive guitar to start with, and came across Esteban on HSN. Saw the Paula Abdul guitar. Greet price, but was the guitar worth even the 100.00 special. If they only made 2,000 a year ago and they still had some left, there had to be something wrong with the guitar. My guitar arrived last week and when I saw it, I was blown away. It was to nice to touch or play.
I then pick it up and strum the strings. I fell in love with the sound, and all the flaws disappeared. This guitar can,t match some of the 300.00 one,s I saw in the stores or internet. A little flashey, but just feels good in your hands. Nice case and extra strings, may get some light weight replacements. Even if you get a blem, forget it. You won,t be sorry.

I was a little hesitant to order the "Tribute to Paula Abdul" guitar after reading some scathing reviews on it. However, when it arrived I did not see any of the faults mentioned. I found GOOD action, nice sound, and decent (not perfect) finish. The added value of the straps, case, etc. were a plus. It is a very nice guitar; You're not getting a Martin or a Gibson ($$$). But you are getting a nice guitar and accessories at a great price!

Usually, I really love Esteban guitars. Even those that have the unfortunate too high action tend to be quite lovely examples to look at. However, this one misses badly. The inlays were uneven and not well sanded so they had sharp hard edging with gaps in the seal. The guitar would not tune even when the strings were properly stretched. Too bad... it could have been lovely.

I was very hesitant to order this guitar due to the reviews, but I've got to say mine is perfect! There is not a single scratch on it and it is the most beautiful guitar I have ever seen. It has a mother of pearl look that is just breathtaking! I am so glad I took the chance and ordered it. If you're hesitating because of the reviews, I say "Go for it!" If you get a bad one, you can always exchange it.

This could have been a beautiful guitar, had someone taken the time to do some quality control. Lots of scratches on the black pic guard, strings of glue stuck to the finish, splotched finish on the back,the "emeralds" looked like garden peas that had been cut in half, covered with glue and smashed in a hole, they still had strings of glue attached, as did the inlays. I can't believe Estaban endorsed a quitar of such poor quality. So much for my Christmas present!

I was so looking forward to getting this guitar. It could have been beautiful. But there are paint runs on the guitar, I couldn't believe this. It appears there was no quality check on this guitar.
I bought this guitar because I love Paula Abdul, and I wanted to get back into music. Very dissapointed....I heard alot of good things about estaban products, but I would never buy another product made by estaban.

Mine was perfect. The most beautiful guitar I've ever seen. I love the sound, design, workmanship, the inlays. This is a great collector item. No regrets here. Looks like I paid big bucks.

I agree - very poor quality. There are also scratches on my pick guard and glues spots around the sound hole where the inlays are. There is also too much space between the D and the G string as it gets closer to the bottom. Very dissappointed in how it was made, because it could have been a beautiful guitar if someone actually took a look at the finished product before sending it out. Unfortunately, mine is going back too!

Very disappointed with the paint job and inlays. bubbles in paint also black dots non buffed portions of paint covered by clearcoat. cant fix this kinda stuff. the inlays are very poorly done rough edges. scratches on the black pick guard, most rubbed out but not all. serious lack of quality control on this looks like this was a real rush job and done very poorly. THIS ONE IS GOING BACK !
