Everything about it was right: the colors, the base, the size, the price. However, the workmanship was shoddy. The lead varied from hairline-thin (not even covering the edges of the glass in some places) to wide and irregular. I realize that each piece is individually crafted and that I may have gotten the only poorly made shade. However, I now question the quality control that would find it acceptable to send this out. Needless to say, I am returning the lamp.

This is a very nice lamp. It is drab with the light off, but comes alive when it is turned on. It is smaller than most TS lamps but it makes a grand statement. It just makes you want to stare at it for hours.
I'm glad I purchased it.
