I did not expect this ring to sparkle the same as a good quality CZ, moissanite, zircon or diamond to sparkle because it is quartz and quartz has different properties. If I want more sparkle down the road I may change the quartz out for one of these other stones..
That being said there was a great deal more sparkle to the ring than I expected. The black rhodium setting added a bit of punch to the design, though I could see how some might not like it. I personally think it is gorgeous and makes the ring stand out as different.
The only thing I would have liked to seen different is a more substantial setting, wider gold in the gallery and in the band...but then it would be a different ring... LOL
Given the price of gold today this was a great buy at the regular price but an excellent buy at the sale price.

I received this ring the other day and I was a bit disappointed. For the cost of this ring it should be a WOW. It didn't have the sparkle I thought it would have. The darkness surrounding the stones made the stones look dull. I am sorry to say I sent it back.
