Replace excess ink in bottle if desired. Rinse screen thoroughly with water. Do not allow ink to dry on screen and do not submerge the machine. Remove excess ink from squeegee and thoroughly rinse with water. Wipe down machine with a soft, damp cloth. Remove the lid and wash it in the sink, if necessary. Replace protective sheet on platen (to protect from lint and dust). Turn off and unplug machine when not in use. Note: Do not use generic textile or fabric inks with your Yudu screens, using non-Yudu inks can permanently damage your screen.

This little machine is great! Hints: Read, re-read the instructions. Go to You Tube and watch the videos. Wet your screen with a sponge front and back - not dripping. Apply emulsion, check front and back for white spots. Respray if necessary. Make sure emulsion is dry. Took me 2 cycles. Used hairdryer on cool to dry. My 1st tees were perfect! Supplies are a little pricey - look for discount coupons! You can make tees, sweatshirts, invitations, canvas prints, and on and on! I am a YUDU fan!

I must agree with all of the reviewers, not enough emulson sheets for the price. But the machine.... I can't say enough about it. It is wonderful!. The images come out clear as a bell. I have wash my items several times now with no fading what so ever. Hint, I know that the demos tell you to wet your screen, but using a sponge instead works and the screen dries faster without streaks.
The secrect to perfect results is in the screen.

Although I agree with most posters regarding the "high" cost of supplies, this machine more than pays for itself. If you run a small business that specializes in small printing jobs (such as a youth league), you'd simply pass the cost on to your customer. I love the fact that everything is self-contained and takes up very little space. I do all of my printing jobs in the laundry room of our home and it's worked out GREAT!!!

Previous reviews state that the machine needs practice to perfect and that the supplies are expensive. I agree with both of these statements, but I also have to say that this is true of ALL screenprinting supplies, not just for YUDU. Silkscreening does take practice and it is costly---that's just how it is. But the benefits of this machine are worth the cost. Most notably is the fact that it is self-contained to keep down the mess that traditional screenpriting makes.

Machine is simple to use but the supplies (inks, emulsion sheets, screens, etc.) cost a FORTUNE! You can't even use a coupon on these products at AC Moore, etc. It's totally ridiculous how much this stuff cost especially after spending $300.00 on the machine itself! They should drastically lower the prices on supplies as well as give you MORE of each supply. ProvoCraft should be ashamed of themselves! Out to make the all mighty dollar, with no regard for the consumers pocket. Shameful!

I have had my Yudu for about 2 weeks and I love it. Yes, it does have a lot of steps, but the final product is totally worth it! I googled Yudu on the web and watched instructional videos before the machine came. So I was prepared when I got it. I haven't even opened the DVD provided. My son plays a lot of sports and all of the family always wear t-shirts with his team name on him and I have made shirts for the whole family for the upcoming t-ball season! Overall, this is a great machine!

Got the machine and my first attempt was just ok, but that is because I just needed to have a little pratice on getting the emulsion sheet dry enough. I would agree the DVD sent with the machine is totally stupid. I got more off the demo from provo crafts web-site. This is a lot of fun to use and I have a few projects already in the thought process.

The Yudu arrived with everything HSN had included on their description. However, the box had been opened and the item looked to be a return. This is more of an issue with HSN than with the Yudu machine. All in all a good product for the home user with a desire to create custom prints.

Anyone who gives this machine a bad review doesn't know what they are talking about. This machine is so easy to use. The instructional video is a bit weird, but the machine is so easy to use it doesn't matter. If you still don't understand how to push a button after the video, you shouldn't be creating things.

I bought this item regardless of the ratings and am sorry I did. I can't say enough about the ANNOYING DVD with 'BARRY". He constantly is interrupting the instructions making them even more complicated then they are. Talking with his mouth full, making inappropriate comments & sounds. I'm returning the item & will wait til they produce a REAL professional instructional video. I agree with the other buyers, HSN will get a lot of these returned.

Obviously those who gave the Yudu poor marks didn't know what they were getting. It is a screen printing machine all-in-one. Anyone who has tried screen printing KNOWS that it takes a lot of equipment and chemicals-Yudu has put all this together for you in one easy spot. It won't replace a real screen printing set-up, but it is terrific for a hobbyist. I’m dinging 1 star because it should have come with emulsion screen cleaner (which is for removing old emulsion, not for cleaning the ink).

I just got my machine today and I love it. I made my mistakes with one imulsion sheet but my fault...No imulsion remover but HSN did call stating that it should have been included and will send it. I did have to order extra things but it was things I wanted to get anyway! I love it and I can't wait to really start printing out more of these T-Shirts!! Thanks HSN for having this available, I hope you get more accessories for this since you have so many Cricut accessories. 5 Stars!!

This is the worst product I ever bought from HSN. I was missing a few things and now 1 item I was missing is on it's way and I am out of other things in the process. The directions are a joke and the video is like a SNL skit it is of no help at all. I hope HSN pulls this item because they are going to have alot of them returned. Mine will be going back tomorrow please save yourself from the headache, don't buy. It is not easy like they show and takes forever to do and don't work.

Okay, the machine is big, the dvd demo with "Barry" is very strange, you do have to buy additional supplies and there is a learning curve. I watched all the YUDU web videos available (go into Google)and it helped but I went to see a demo at Joann's & it all made sense then! The 1st shirt is the hardest but then you want to do shirts, tote bags, etc all night long. I found that if you rinse the screen out DIRECTLY after imprinting your item-- the ink came out with no emulsion remover needed!

I was very excited to get the YUDU in the mail I own both size cricuts from the same company so I was very disapointed by what I recieved, it was 2x larger than appeared on TV and it was 10x more complicated than I was lead to believe many items needed in addition to what you actually get
I took it out looked at the pieces, manual and dvd and then packaged it up and sent it right back

I just bought the YUDU Screen Printer, and I am totally happy with this product. I took my time on the first one and it came out great. The process was so EASY and the ink is great. I am going to start up a little shirt printing business that is totally personalized. Shirts that you can't buy in the stores. My only disappointment is that I could not purchase any of the emulsion sheets or emulsion remover seperatly.
