Do not understand other complaints.Yes my ring did arrive with a greasy film,that also made it look scratched: However some warm water & soap cleaned it up to a beautiful shine! My husband loves it it is comfortable & looks sharp with his black watch.

ON A POSITIVE NOTE THE RING ARRIVED SOONER THAN EXPECTED.TOO BAD THERE WAS NOT A VIDEO CLIP TO SHOW IT ON "HAND".
I HAD THE RING ENGRAVED. UNFORTUNATELY YOU COULD BEARLY SEE IT BECAUSE THERE WAS NO CONTRAST ENAMEL USED. THE ACTUALLY BLACK STEELE WAS ENGRAVED THEREFORE PRACTICALLY INVISIBLE.
THE RING ITSELF IS A SHINY BLACK BAND. IT LOOKS LIKE HARD PLACTIC.
