I had high hopes for TV watching so I wouldn't have to keep the volume up so loud but all it does is make all noises louder, so you still can't hear it BUT IT'S LOUD! Shame it didn't work. I would give it less than 1 star but that is not an option. Save your money & postage.

The only good thing about this product is the clarity of someone right in front of you period. If I were in a classroom and unless the class was quiet where you could hear a needle drop this product isn't worth a dime. It would be more like hearing a plate drop....This product in all honesty would be worth $4.99 for the kids to play with.

I had high hopes for this, but unfortunately I didn't read the customer reviews. This device amplifies static, and static only. HSN should be ashamed to handle such a poor quality item. Buyer Beware!!!!!

I thought I would be able to listen to my tv without disturbing my neighbors with my new Loud "N Clear. Mine has so much static that it totally drowned out tv. I'm not surprised to see others too are disappointed. I am returning mine today.

On my new HD TV some of the channels the sound could not be adjusted above a whisper, I saw the Loud"n Clear demonstrated and it said buy me! buy me! I did and it was the solution I needed. I am back to sing its praises and to buy another one just in case I misplace the one I already have. It takes a little time to get use to wearing it, I think it is wonderful.Fits my need just fine.

I received this the other day and when I put it all together the static was so loud it was all I could hear. don't waste your money I'm surprised that hsn would sell such a cheap product I am returninfg it right away.

I bought this to be able to listen to TV without disturbing my husband. It does not work like they say it does, and I tried everything, believe me! It is not worth the money and it costs more to ship it back! HSN, where is your Quality Control? There weren't any reviews when I bought mine, or I wouldn't have purchase it, trust me! From now on, I will not be purchasing anything that does not have a review! Trust the reviews, people; we don't get paid to do this!

I don't understand the other reviews that say that it didn't work. I use it when my son is sleeping in the bedroom next to the living room, and it works great! The only problem is that I live in NYC, Manhattan, so I have to have the windows closed. When I am running the A/C in the same room, I just have to turn the Loud "N Clear up a bit, and then I can hear the TV perfectly. I just hope that it lasts a long time since I have only had it one week.

I have the other reviewer beat. I received the Loud and Clear today and it DIDN'T EVEN WORK AT ALL. I tried both sets of batteries and it did nothing. I too can't believe HSN sells this item.

This device is such a bad purchase that HSN should pay for the return shipping. I was really excited to receive the item, but quickly disappointed the moment I put it in my ear. The only thing it amplified was static.

Received this item yesterday and have tried to use it (wanted to love it), however it doesn't amplify external sounds as advertised, and it generates so much static that it's definitely not clear. I thought perhaps I had received a defective item until reading the previous reviews and found that others were experiencing the same problems. I really wished this item had been loud and clear, I would have purchased more!

Do not buy this product, can't believe HSN added this to their list of products. It was totally stupid and the biggest scam of a product. There is so much feedback and terrible sound quality it went immediately back. It did amplify sound, but you could hear so much noise from the unit itself, it would make absolutely no sense to use it. Amplifies your own voice sounds out of your own mouth, i.e. cough, sneeze, etc. OMG -- bad product!!! We are embarrassed we even ordered it!!
