This is costume jewelry. The color is terrific and the stone looks substantial. It's not supposed to be shiny. It's a fun addition to my collection.

I was rather disappointed when I opened the package. The setting is very nice and quite stunning but there is no shine to the stone itself. The stone is cloudy and very dull. I will be returning this item.

the ring is pretty the setting is nice ,but it has no shine the stone has no life .
